Marcus Drey.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He was siting with the adults at the table, and when I walked in, he didn't see me immediatly, so I might have deliberately reached right past him to get a chocolate from the Quality Street tin, when there was another whole can in the living room. He looked up, and I smiled, he smiled shyly back, barely showing his teeth. I don't blame him. It's SO obvious that he likes me, that our PARENTS have caught on. So Marcus comes up in conversation alot becasue she likes to tease me that an older guy likes me because she knows that it freaks me out. Which it does, but I'm one of the older students in my class, and he's one of the youngest in his class. So he's 14, and I will be 13 on the 9th of nest month. Which isn't a big differnce at all. Why do we have to stick to our own grades? IT makes me so mad that the students of my class make it practically impossible to date other students out of the grade, and espescially out of the school. Because Tamara had a 16 year old boyfriend (4 year difference) and she got judged really harshly for it. The last thing I want to become is another Tamara. (side note: in between the summer and now, I dated Sam. I know, I know, huge mistake. only lasted 6 days, and it was because I was trying to distract myself form Marcus. ;-;) Anyways, lets go back to Katie's house. So I grab a chocolate, and then Ellen (Marcuses mom), passed me another chocolate behind her back, so I took it and smiled. Marcus obviously saw the exchange, and started grinning, showing his teeth now. You can really tell when Marcus truly smiles. Like not the fake smile that you do for school pictures and things like that, his ACTUAL true self, smile. Katie and I go down into the basement, where Sarah and my sister were, and noticed that they must've gone upstairs, because they were no longer in the basement. But there was a box of feather boas and other dress up things, hauled out. Which is weird becasue no one has touched that stuff in over 2 years. Then we found that the door to outside, was left just a crack open. They're probably trying to scare us. I think there were halloween masks in that box as well, so it makes sense. And they hid the plasma cars, so me and Katie both decided that we were both too lazy to look for them. I hear Marcuses voice, but it's not loud enough t hear what he's saying. Then I hear Ellen say:
"They went to the beach!?" obviously talking about the 2 missing children. Me and Katie walked up the basement stairs and sat on the couch, and about 30 seconds after, I hear Marcus's voice, but I've never heard it like this before. Its loud and angry, not like shy quiet voice he talks in casually. I hear: "GIRLS! GET BACK HERE!" And they must start coming back becasue he slams the door, but when he turns around, he doesn't look flustered or stressed. Just Marcus. And he sits down on the couch before there's a knock on the door. He goes to open it, obviously knowing that its the girls. And they say something that I can't quite make out becasue of the masks they have on. Marcus, holding the door with one hand, he turns around and says:
"Hey Skylar!" just hearing my name come out of his mouth, just makes me.... AHHHHHHHHH!
"Door's for you," he says smiling from ear to ear. And I felt the exact feeling that I felt that Summer night, the feeling of loving someone so much you cannot describe it in words.
(HAHAHAHAHHHAHAHA GOOD LUCK FOR THE LAST CHAPTER!!! LOL I'm almost positive there will be a sequel. There will be another chapter on for December 28th, I know its been 2 chapters, but alot happned. Last chapter should be out before January 7th, (might come out early on the 6th, idk) and I will put Chapter 1 of the sequel as the last part of this story. Happy Reading!)
