The alarm clock had woken up the green mop of hair that carries One for All earlier than needed to attend U.A. as he would be training with his mentor, All Might. However, this was not the first time he woke up during the night, as he had a dream that caused him to activate his quirk. He believed that it was instinctive and that he used air pressure to break his own balcony window as in his dream he had reached out towards a hand, but didn't really want to attack it.

As he got dressed, more questions popped into Izuku Midoriya's head, as he recognized the figures as the same he had seen at the sports festival while being mind controlled by somehow he now considered a friend, but it was uncertain how close Hitoshi Shinso thought of Midoriya. Either way, he would try to answer his questions as soon as he got to training, even though it wouldn't get them.

Midoriya P.O.V.

As I walk out of Heights Alliance I finally found myself spotting a scrawny All Might with his trademark smile. "Young Midoriya, I hope you are ready for training on your quirk!" He exclaimed with his usual enthusiasm. "Actually All Might, I had a dream with what I assume are the previous One For All users and I interacted with what seemed to be the first holder. I don't really know what happened then my window just broke and my quirk was activated and I think I attacked from instinct but I didn't want to attack in my dr-""Young Midoriya, you are mumbling again." said All Might as he stopped my train of thought. "Don't worry about it, it was just a dream. Now let's get to training, shall we?" I just nodded and went on and experimented with One For All for about an hour.

As training finished, All Might walks up to me with a large amount of papers. "I will be going to    I-Island for around a month, maybe a month and a half. Doctor Shield has asked for my help and I planned this for you, I hope you follow it, as it isn't as bad as wen you had to work for One For All." I just nodded to his statement and ran to shower and get ready to school, although my mind was still on what had happen early morning. I really don't know what it meant or what happened, maybe this time I really am useless in this situation.

(Time Skip to lunch, as school is uneventful)

I am picking my things of the table into my backpack to go to the cafeteria to eat by my friends Iida and Uraraka, as I hear a scruffy voice coming from the front of the class. "Midoriya, a word". That was all mister Aizawa needed to make me nervous and flustered, but not as much as when I am around and close to girls in normal situations. As everyone leaves, I approach him, only for him to question "Care to explain your broken Window?" I was never much of a liar, so I just tell him about my dream. With an almost sympathetic expression (you never really know with someone like Aizawa) he says "Try and do something that relaxes you or get something or someone that does that for you. I recommend meditation or casual talk, it has helped me in the past. I will let it slide this once, but don't test your luck, Problem Child." I was amazed, but I am let go to the cafeteria and think about it.

As I sit down, I immediately have to explain to Iida that I am not in trouble and tell them about a dream but half lying as they don't know the true nature about my quirk. "Well Deku-kun, I hope it is a one time thing, I don't want to see you in bad shape" Uraraka says in a worried tone. My mind tries to decipher as to know why she said that, if it is either pity or actual worrying. After all, she is my best friend, but I never really had friends so maybe it is as when she tried to give me points for the entrance exam. I still thank her though, it wouldn't be polite not to do so.

As the bell signals to go back to class, I am just glad that the only real bad thing to happen today was my dream, no problems with Kacchan and anyone in class, it was quite peaceful, but I could not really concentrate as it still bugged me and I remember my entire arm feeling sore. It felt strange, and due to my constant daydream and recollection of memories from that night, I am probably fated to have to put in extra work at the dorms. At least it gives me an excuse to study, rather than forcing myself so that I can do better in my tests. Still, I wonder if I'll get similar or worse dreams, and I am anxious about sleeping again. Maybe I should take mister Aizawa's advice more seriously.

Third person P.O.V.

Uraraka, Mina, Asui (better known as Tsu) and Toru are all in the common area discussing about school and other casual things while some of the guys watch T.V. and chill after a long day of school. However, the anti-gravity user can only think and daydream about a freckled boy with eyes that shine like emeralds as she stared at them while he didn't notice during lunch. Only living as a memory, as she looks for him but doesn't seem to find that green mop of hair that she idolizes and cares about so much.

Unknown to everyone else, Izuku Midoria had fallen asleep on his bed quite early after studying hard for all that he missed. However, his sleep would not be uninterrupted, as his insecurities about certain events that happened not to long ago come back subconsciously and would hunt him for at least that night, but everyone else would just be minding their own business. However, those events would not happen until some time in the future.

Heyoo, this is the first chapter, please give constructive criticism, as I am a bit uncertain about it. The story is called 'Downward Spiral', so just give it time for it to get serious, as I already have big plans for what is to come in the next 2 weeks. My winter break just started so it will be daily until it finishes. I appreciate everyone who decides to read this and with just reading it really does make a difference to me. Thank you, and I'll see you tomorrow for chapter 2. ( ͡°ω ͡°)
