I'm coming home

Trial

This is gonna be the last chapter of this story so I hope you like it

A few days later

Ahsoka was walking to the courthouse with Plo on her left, Obi Wan on her right, and Anakin behind her. When they get their they take their seats and wait for everyone to get adjourned, when everyone was ready Chancellor Organa comes out and says "bring him out."

The clones nod and they drag Maul and Tarkin out, Windu and Kit Fisto were standing behind Maul just incase he tried anything. When they get to the accused stand they grab Maul's arms so that he couldn't jump or run away.

Organa then said "Darth Maul, Admiral Wiluff Tarkin sense you have signed a confession and have witnesses that you did all of these crimes, this court will decide wether you should receive the death penalty or spend the rest of your life in prison."

Maul glares at him but keeps his mouth shut, Organa then turns to Ahsoka and says "Knight Tano pls step to the witness stand." Ahsoka nods and walks up.

Organa then says "knight Tano pls tell the court what Darth Maul and Tarkin did to you 3 days ago." Ahsoka sighs and says "3 days ago I was walking back to the temple when someone knocked me out from behind, when I woke up I saw that I was in a cell, Maul and Tarkin then walked in and said that I was to lure Obi Wan here."

She then takes a deep breathe and says "Tarkin also said that if he didn't show up then he would... rape me." Everyone was shocked and angry, even Windu, but the person who was the most angry was Anakin.

He stands up and ignites his lightsabers but Obi Wan quickly grabs it and holds Anakin down. He drags him out of the room and tells Anakin that he'll bring him back in once he's calm down.

After Anakin leaves Organa decides to focus on Ahsoka again, he turns to her and says "thank you Knight Tano, you may go back to your seat." Ahsoka nods and sits down next to Plo, she rests her head on his shoulder and a single tear goes down her cheek.

Plo wraps an arm around her and the council smiles, Windu and Kit were squeezing Maul's shoulders so tight that bruises were starting to form. They both glare at him and mutter curse words in their native language.

Organa then looks at Maul and Tarkin and says "Darth Maul and Wiluff Tarkin for the kidnapping, Murder, attempted murder, and attempted rape. This court has no choice but to sentence you to death, take them away to the prison, they will be court martial at noon, tomorrow.

Windu and Kit nod then drag Maul back to his cell with Tarkin behind him with the clones gripping his arms. Plo leads Ahsoka out of the room but while they were walking they could here Obi Wan and Anakin arguing at each other's throat, they heard Anakin say "I have every right to slaughter him and I don't care what you say!"

They then hear Obi Wan say "Anakin I know how you feel but revenge isn't the Jedi way, you must think clearly, if you kill him then you'll go to prison, is that what you want."

Anakin explodes and shouts "no but at least I'd be doing something!" Plo, knowing that arguing was he last thing that Ahsoka needed, leads her away from the arguing pair and towards the exit and back to the temple

The next day

Maul and Tarkin were on the platform with clones on earthier side of him, everyone was glad that they could finally end Maul's reign of terror. They watched as the clones dragged Maul and Tarkin onto the platform and 8 clones come out.

Maul and Tarkin were glaring at Obi Wan and Ahsoka and muttering curse words, they clones then lead them to the center where Chancellor Organa says "Darth Maul and Wiluff Tarkin, sense it's customary, do u have any last words?"

Maul looks up at Obi Wan and says "you can never truly get rid of me Kenobi, you watched as I killed your master right in front of you, I'm glad that even after I die you will still suffer from that memory."

Tarkin turns to Ahsoka and says "I know my words will plague your dreams every night, you may think your safe in the temple and with the council but no one is truly safe and once you recognize I hope you'll already be dead!"

The council were done with Maul and Tarkin tormenting one of their own, the chancellor shouted "FIRE!" 3 Clone aimed for Maul's skull, the other two aimed for his chest.

The other 3 clones aimed at Tarkin and they pull the trigger and Maul and Tarkin fall limp to the ground, the council and Ahsoka then feel their force signature leave and they all sigh in relief of him finally being gone.

They then walk out and Ahsoka decides to head to the gardens to meditate, when she gets their she takes in the serenity. She sits down and sighs in relief, Ahsoka knew that Tarkin was trying to make her scared but she didn't believe him.

She knew that as long as was at the temple, she was safe and for the first time in a long time, Ahsoka was at peace.
