The Soldier and The Gunman

The War

So there was a soldier and a gunman. The gunman mocked the soldier to the others from afar. The soldier was angered and at first tried to make a peace treaty but this just angered the gunman and he declared war and shot the solider. The soldier was miles away but still received the shot. It barely hit just made a small scratch. This doesn't deter the soldier one bit and he marches through the plains. As he gets closer the gun mans shots slowly start to dent the soilders armor but he Carrie's on into the night. He soon gets too close and the bullets start to pelt and wound him. Yet despite his bloody wounds he forges on even when the others say to back down. Soon hes so close just a mile or less but now the gunman can hit hard. He has hit his most gentle and weak spot but somehow the soldier manages to crawl on to defend his pride. The gunman amazed he still continues on but joyous in his pain keeps shooting the pain is unbearable but finally the soldier reaches the gunman. The gunman grows annoyed with the fact the soldier won't die. The soldier tries to hit the gunman but hes so wounded it does nothing. The gunman decides hes had enough and walks into a storm where the soldier can't find him. The soldier sighs and goes to get his wounds dressed. The gunman returns home to his unhappy misrable life. All is quiet for awhile. Well until the storm stops. Yet again the soldier seeks out the gunman still injured but better. The gunman at this point is just annoyed by his presence and tries to hide. The solider is resilient and finds him. The gunman and the soldier end up in hand to hand combat. The soldier throws the finally punch. None of the soilders punches hurt sadly but the gunman is so annoyed that he just let's the soldier win so it can end. Through it all the gunman didn't even get a scratch.This the story of the Gunman and the Soldier.
