That night, Lori #200 was brushing her teeth in the bedroom, while Lori #2 sits in her bed reading more about the original Lori on an iPad-like tablet.
"You're still reading that thing?" Lori #200 asks. "It's almost past 10."
"I know, I just want to learn more about this Lori Loud." Lori #2 said, concerned. "She sounds like..."
"Someone who you'd get more than you bargained for?" Lori #200 asks, bored.
"Yeah, says here that Lori would always give rides to people in her family on the condition of getting something in return." Lori #2 said, annoyed.
"That seems really mean." Lori #200 said, swallowing what's in her mouth.
"That, and he threatens to turn someone into a human pretzel if someone irritates her enough." Lori #2 said, shocked.
"That sounds really awful, but that really isn't our concern anymore, we're not Lori, we're clones, remember?" Lori #200 said, chuckling.
"I dunno why, but I have a bad feeling about this Lori Loud. She seems like bad news." Lori #2 said, putting aside the tablet.
"Well, I wouldn't worry about it, it's not our problem anymore." Lori #200 said. "So, you know our objectives for tomorrow morning?"
"Find other clones, report to the Council of Loris, try to find a way to create interdimensional travel, find someone to pilot the Citadel." Lori #2 said. "That, and go about our daily lives."
"It won't be easy." Lori #200 said.
"Nothing is ever easy." Lori #2 sighed as she turned out the lights. But she couldn't help but to wonder how this will turn out if other copies found out about the Real Lori.
The following morning, the lights went on, waking Lori #2 up. The computer announced, "The time is 9 AM in the morning, time for Objectives. Lori #1 & 2, report to the room of council of Loris."
"Council of Loris?" Lori #2 and #200 said, surprised.
"So, some of the new clones will be part of the council?" Lori #2 asks as she looks at the computer, which says that 10 copies were already created for the Council of Loris.
"I assume so." Lori #200 said.
"Other Loris, find other clones." The computer announced. "Cloning Process has initiated."
And so it went. Lori #12 and 12 other clones went to the stations to check on the doppelgangers. Starting with the North Station, and so far, they only saw one cloning tube. And inside it was a Lori clone, only one thing's...significantly different.
This Lori looked 9 years younger, and she was in a navy blue suit with white shoes and it would seem that it was missing a tooth.
Lori #12 asks, "Why is this copy younger than all of us?"
"Age varies between the child and high school senior every day in the process." Computer announced.
The tube opened, and the younger Lori clone was spilled out of the tube, landing on all fours, coughing. Clone #12 helped her up, and as soon as the younger clone began to take notice of her surroundings and started to get scared.
"W...what is this place?" The young Lori asks.
"How old are you?" Lori #12 asks.
"Eight Years old." Kid!Lori replied. "Just tell me where I'm at..."
"Citadel of Loris, It's the secret headquarters for the council of Loris." Lori #36 replied. "During the COVID-19 Outbreak of a dimension, a scientist named "Richard" took a blood sample from Lori Loud and put it in this Citadel's cloning machine to populate it for a test run to see if Living in a Citadel would work out in the near future."
"So I'm..." Kid!Lori said, tearfully. "A clone?"
Lori #12 seemed worried about her younger prodical sister's emotional state, worrying about her mental health. She then crouched down and hugged her, soothing the younger clone.
"It's alright, Lori." Lori #12 said. "We're here for you."
"How many of me is there?" Kid!Lori #1 said.
"7996 Loris." Lori #101 said.
"Each day, 1999 clones are produced that vary by age." Lori #12 said. "So you might have some friends to play with."
Kid!Lori #1 replied, "You mean..."
"Yeah, more of you. That might be a blessing. You'll have so much in common," Lori #12 said, reassuringly.
And by sheer coincidence, another cloning tube containing another 8-year-old Lori appeared from the ground. The tubes released the clone and Kid!Lori #1 ran up to her, helping her up.
"Hi, I'm a clone of Lori Loud," Kid!Lori #1 said. "And you are too."
"What?" Kid!Lori #2 said, shocked.
"Don't let that bother you. We still have a lot of fun!" Kid!Lori #1 said, happily. "And there will be more friends that look like us to play with!"
"Really?" Kid!Lori #2 asks, grinning. Lori #12's heart melted at the sight of this. She couldn't just abandon these two girls when they're at a young age, especially when there are more of these little kids coming in.
Lori #12 said, "You girls better check on the other clones. I'll check on the clones in this base."
The other Older Loris were confused.
"You sure? They're not even mature yet." Lori #36 said, insistingly.
"I'll be fine." Lori #12 said.
The first two Lori Clones were walking down a huge room, where they saw an empty room. Their eyes quickly ventured at the large, golden councilor chairs which had ten Lori copies in them, all of whom were behind a large, golden. They each wore light blue coats with a brown trim. They also wore green gloves and boots, each with a gold trim.
"Approach," All 10 Lori Councilors stated.
"Are you the council of Loris?" Lori #1 asks.
"Yes. Your job is to report any suspicious behavior that goes on in the Citadel to us. We are to make sure we keep a society of Loris together one way or another." A Lori Councilor spoke up. "Also, you are to have younger Loris educated about their past and the Citadel. We need to make sure that they grow up to be like us."
"And speaking of Growing Up, Richard added a formula to the Duplication Process. A serum that makes Loris that are already 17 stay that age." Another Lori Councilor spoke up.
"Wait, as in we're stuck like this forever?" Loris #1 and 2 shouted, angrily.
"It wasn't our idea. Richard was drunk."
Lori #2 started to get concerned. Clone #2 found out Prime's origin, she started to wonder how are the other clones going to react to how Lori behaves? Will it destroy them emotionally?
"And as for having the younger Loris learn about their past selves..." Lori #2 said, concerned.
"What?" A Lori Councilor spoke up.
"What if it's something that they shouldn't be seeing at all?"
"I'm sure there will be hard stuff to hear, but they must persevere with the knowledge given to them."
"No...what I mean is, what if they learn something about Lori Loud that puts her in a negative light?"
"I'm sure they'll forget about it, they're just little kids..." Lori #1 said, insistingly. "They have other things on their mind."
"They don't!" Lori #2 said, annoyed. "They don't remember anything, their families from their past life, their siblings, nothing! And if some information is poured in a bad light, who knows what it could do to their emotional state?!"
"That's enough." Lori Councilors #3 and 7 spoke up.
"They need to know who they are and where they come from." Lori Councilor #1 said. "It doesn't matter how bad it is, they have to just take the info and apply it to their lives."
"But why do that when they can better themselves?" Lori #2 said. "They have potential do things that the original Lori couldn't possibly be able to do, and you're throwing that out?"
"We're not throwing anyone out. We're just trying to prepare the Younger of the Lori copies for their futures. That is all."
"But..."
"We're finished for today."
Lori #2 rolled her eyes as she left with Lori #1.
"You didn't have to act like you were the victim." Lori #1 said, embarrassed by this.
"I wasn't. I'm just stating facts. Loris need a positive Role Model in their lives." Lori #2 said.
"At the same time, they also have to accept reality. They can't keep believing in false hope." Lori #1 asks, sternly.
"Not necessarily." Lori #2 said, equally sternly. "They're just little kids."
"It doesn't matter. We have to make sure they understand the truth instead of believing in Lies." Lori #1 said. "Let's just check on the other clones."
"Well, can we at least sugarcoat the truth?" Lori #2 said.
"Forget it." Lori #1 said, poking her in the nose, sternly. "They have to learn honesty the hard way, one way or another."
"Shouldn't there be another way?" Lori #2 said, worried.
"There isn't always another way. This is the only way." Lori #1 said, sternly.
At the Cloning Station, Clone #12 was witnessing something adorable, thousands of Eight Year old Lori clones playing with each other. The newer copies were greeted by the other copies. Lori #12 took her contactor out and called Lori #36.
"How's the South Cloning Station?" Lori #12 asks.
"Awkward." Lori #36 said, annoyed.
"How so?"
"These clones are at least 12 years old, have braces and glasses on and are asking me "Where's a scrapbook?" It's driving me nuts!"
"Want me to go in there?"
"Yes, before I lose my sanity."
"Alright, I'll be right back."
"Have fun!" The Eight-Year-old Lori clones said, gleefully.
At another Cloning Station, Lori #12 walked in, confused, only to see Lori #36 in a fetal position while her right eye twitches. Lori #12 laughed at this while at least thousands of 12-year old Nerdy Lori copies were talking about uninteresting facts. They were wearing blue swimsuits and brown leggings.
"This is driving you insane?" Lori #12 said, humored.
"IT'S A CHORE TO BE NEAR THEM!" Lori #36 snapped.
"Look, I'm sure it's just a stage." Lori #12 replied, helping Lori #36 get up from the ground. "They'll grow out of it eventually. It could be worse..."
"How the fuck could it get worse?!" Lori #36 said, annoyed as she raises her arms.
"We could change diapers?" Lori #12 nervously said this made Lori #36 growl.
"Please get me outta here." Lori #36 said, annoyed.
"The other clones have the other new clones taken care of." Lori #12 said.
"I just want to get outta here, away from them." Lori #36 said, annoyed.
"Look, it'll be fine." Lori #12 said. "Our council meeting is tonight, and we'll have this covered sooner or later."
"I'm not so sure about that..." Lori #36 said, warily.
"Oh, shoot!" Lori #12 said, alarmed. "I gotta go back and check on those Eight-Year-Olds!"
Lori #12 sprinted out, thoughtlessly leaving her clone behind, much to her dismay as she was left alone with all the Nerdy Lori clones.
As other Lori copies had lunch and/or grew accustomed to their surroundings, Lori #2 was walking around the citadel, still thinking about the real Lori. Is it wrong to protect someone from a seemingly terrible lie or is telling them the truth the best thing for the Younger Lori clones?
Speaking of which, Lori #12 walked by with 1999 clones of an Eight-Year-old Lori, much to her surprise. The younger Loris wore the similar apparel that the older Lori clones wore, but it's different. A red pink shirt and black legging tights with a pink leather jacket, in addition to white boots, black gloves, and matching epaulets on their jackets.
"So by Younger Clones, this is what the Council of Loris mean by that." Lori #2 said, nervously. "Where are you taking them?"
"To their rooms, wanna come with us?" Lori #12 said.
"Uh...sure." Lori #2 said, awkwardly as she followed them. "Uh, Lori?"
"Mmm?" Lori #12 asks.
"If you were to find information that seemed bad when you found out about it, and you felt the need to tell someone, what do you do? I mean if I were to find out info about the Original Lori and her Mom, Dad, and Sisters and brother, would you be shocked to find things are better left unsaid?" Lori #2 asks.
"It would depend on how bad was it to other Loris." Lori #12 said. "Try to see the best in other Loris, like these angels."
"Well, can we talk about this when we're at their home?" Lori #2 said, anxiously.
"S...Sure.." Lori #12 replied.
This won't be easy, but someone has to fess up. Why not her?
