After a long, tiring day at school, Karly was heading home when suddenly someone grabbed her by the shoulder. She turned around and saw her best friend, Kayla standing there, smiling.
"Where have you been today?" Asked Kayla, axniously.
"I was in the medicial room, I couldn't be bothered to stick around with you and everyone else"
They started walking, in utter silence; not knowing what to say and when they reached Karly's home, she said bye and slammed the door.
"Urgh, what a day! The day Kayla and the rest stop kissing their boyfriends, I'll be relieved" she mumbled and headed upstairs. All of a sudden her mother came upstairs, as Karly lay on the bed and sighed.
"Hello hunny, do you want anything to eat?"
"NOT RIGHT NOW, GO AWAY!"
Her mother shut her door and went back downstairs. Karly was still laying on the bed, looking up at the roof and thinking what was her life even right now. Just as she was about to take a nap, something started viberating, she suddenly got up, as if she was about to being attacked by wild wolves. Realising the noise was her phone she snatched it from her dress pocket and picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Karly, what's up with you?! Why were you being so blunt with Kayla?"
"It's nothing, I got to go Zara. I'm not in the mood to talk."
She hung up the phone and chucked it on her bed, softly, making sure she doesn't break it. Karly rushed down the stairs and went into the kitchen and looked into the fridge. Scanning her eyes, she looked around for food and saw a bit of left over cake.
"Mum, where's the spoon gone?!"
"It's on the table Karly, gosh."
Karly snatched it and took the cake upstairs with her. Her mother sighed deeply, shook her head and whispered to herself.
"She'll never change"
Settling down in her desk, Karly opened her laptop and logged into her social media profile. Scrolling through her newsfeed, all of a sudden she recieved a notification which lead to her friend requests page. She clicked on the person who sent her a friend request and got shocked.
