I was looking over the edge of my balcony, when suddenly I saw a blinding white flash of light, and I tripped and fell over the edge. I saw myself plummeting down at high speed, yet I felt like I was floating in a pool of water, free of weight. I saw flashes of pink and green.. And then I hit the bottom of a lake and woke up with a start.
I had been getting this dream quite a lot recently. Even though I got vivid and crazy dreams quite frequently, this was a little surprising even for me. My dreams are often random and incomprehensible. I once dreamt that my mom stepped on a pillow, which turned green, and then orange. Then I ran into her, and we both screamed like goats. The pillow exploded and showered us with feathers. The end. Like I said—random.
But I have to admit that this new dream was much more confusing, and even a little worrisome, especially because I had been having it for the past five nights straight.
