Welcome to the Carnival
Why don't you take a seat?
This show is sure to be a thrill
And all the people you will meet.
Growling at the ringmaster
The businessman in his chains
He works all day for less pay
But hardly notices the pain
Oh, this is a CARN-ival
But not the one you think
Filled with the outcasts
We devour as we dine with drink
Now don't you leave, my dear,
The show is not yet done
There is the fast food worker
In her frenched prison of fun
The world is filled with sustenance
If you only know where to look
It's certainly a dog-eat-dog world
And you're not off the hook
Behold the stranger there
Hidden behind glass
Watching in on our world
And dwelling on your past
What a tasty morsel you'd be
If only you would stay
Here at the wond'rous Carnival
We only want to play
Welcome to the Carnival
We'll eat you up alive
For you're quite mistaken
If you believe the weak survive
