It is important for each one of us to cherish every moment of our lives, in order not to live with the regret that you could have done something else. Most of the time, we always delay doing certain things, thinking we will solve them the next day. But we never know what the future holds for us, maybe one day "tomorrow" will no longer exist, and the things you could do today will never be accomplished, remaining paralyzed in an obscure reality. We forget to live in the present, for ourselves, remaining anchored in the past and thinking about a delusional future.

And you know what? You are enough. Start doing what makes you happy and alive, which makes you forget all the negative thoughts you have. Try to love your imperfections, your flaws, and everything about you. Try to focus on what is truly important for you and not for others. "The most important day is the day you decide you're good enough for you. It's the day you set yourself free."

It was a frigid winter day. Temperatures were well below the minimum. The snow was falling uninterrupted, burying any form of life that would have had the misfortune to be outside for weather like that. Maeve was protected from the cold, being in the beneficial heat of the car, but lost in thoughts that did not give her peace, they roar in her mind, like snowflakes in the snowstorm. She was driving alone, to her parents' house in Hot Springs, a small town several miles away from the most important major city, so far from her home. "What an ironic name for a city like this, where even in summer, temperatures barely reach 20 degrees Celsius," Maeve thought to herself. So she tried to move her thoughts to other things, in order to forget about problems that did not give her peace, such as the imminent divorce and custody of the 6-year-old child she had with her husband.

As she tried to cope with the unusual ruthless weather, she began to remember the love story between herself and her husband, a story that ended in the worst possible way. She had met Alec in her second year of college, while she was on a scholarship to America. The two fell in love quickly and unknowingly with each other, so in less than two months they were already together and planning a wedding. Those days had been the most beautiful of her life, and the birth of the child had done nothing but crown their happiness. But, 3 years after the wedding, problems began to appear. Maeve, who wanted a second child, began losing pregnancy after pregnancy, falling into a deep depression. Alec, affected by the suffering of his wife, neglected his law firm, entering bankruptcy and was in a position to lose all the money invested until then with a lot of work.

And as a problem never comes alone, there was a major distance between the two, which even their child, could not reconnect with. Maeve was taking antidepressants, but they had little effect on her, her condition worsening so badly that she no longer wanted the help of a specialist. Alec, estranged from his wife, began to miss more and more at home, and soon began a love affair with a former college colleague and common friend, Natalia. It wasn't long before Alec filed for divorce, encouraged by his girlfriend, while also seeking full custody of the child, reasoning that Maeve, in her situation, cannot properly raise him. These things brought Maeve down completely, leaving her to wonder what was the cause for which their marriage was destroyed; It was Natalia who separated the two of them, the bankruptcy or her inability to carry out a pregnancy on time and making her feel less womanly.

With these gloomy thoughts in her head, Maeve had decided on that cold January day to distance herself entirely from trouble and seek support in the warm welcome of her mother's embrace. That was the reason she was on that road, facing an unimaginable blizzard. But in a moment of inattention, when her eyes were in tears and she could no longer see the road, the wheels of the car slipped on the ice on the road, penetrated through the parapet, and plunged the car on the side of the road. When everything seemed to end there, Maeve breathed for the first time. "Finally my pain is over!" these were the last words Maeve said before falling into unconsciousness
