I drove into the school parking lot,parking my car in my usual spot.
I looked back at my brother who was already undoing his seatbelt"don't expect me to drive you home though"
"Sis,we both know that's an empty threat" He said smugly, grabbing his bookbag and duffel from the backseat and getting out of my car.
I sighed,knowing that he was right.I took out my small mirror, making sure my makeup was still on fleek and sure enough, it was perfect.
I didn't use too much makeup,I didn't need it anyway.Today I only had pink matte lipstick, mascara and eyeliner. I didn't need blush,concealer etc,minimal makeup suited me just fine.
I grabbed my bookbag and duffel.My phone and headphones were already inside my bookbag.I got out of the car,closing and locking it behind me.
I looked up at the cloudless blue sky and inhaling the fresh air before looking at the gigantic school infront of me.Eastview Academy was a school for the elite so it was understandable that it would be huge.I have been going here ever since 8th grade.
"Addison!" I hear a high pitched voice behind me,I groan at the sound and turn around to face my bffe(best friend for eternity).
"Your voice is so annoying, why did you have to yell?" I whine exaggeratedly rubbing my temples
Lea just attacked me with a bear hug causing me to chuckle "Lea let me go"I say trying to get out of her grasp

"oh shut up Addy, I know you love my hugs" she said squeezing me tighter before letting me go "I haven't seen you in so long....where is your brother?"
I laughed as we continued to walk towards the school entrance. Lea has the biggest crush on Adrian, but she's too chicken to tell him how she feels.
"I don't know,and I honestly don't care.When are you gonna grow some balls and tell him how you feel?" I asked her walking through the large double doors.
"If you haven't noticed;I'm a girl.I am pretty certain I'm not supposed to have-what you said"
Lea is not a fan of profanities,she doesn't even have her own makeshift swear words,she just doesn't get close to swearing.We've been friends since elementary school so she's gotten used to hearing me and the others swear.
"You're lucky I can keep my mouth shut or I would've told Adrian a long time ago,you need to stop being a pussy and woman up"
"Let's just go put our duffel bags in the Locker room before the bell rings....or I knock your pearly whites out"she mutters the last part making me snort and roll my eyes."
