Hello beautiful readers, welcome to my latest obsession!
I want to put it out there right now that I am no expert on the manners or language used in the time of this story! The dialogue will not be perfect, so just picture a beautiful Victorian Era setting with a tad bit of a modern twist ;)
To keep me motivated and (somewhat) on track, I am posting my chapters as I go along. For those following with me as I'm publishing, my updates will not be consistent, sorry! Bear with me, though, I'm doing my best to write a chapter every few days. To those who hesitate with uncompleted stories, my entire plot is laid out chapter-by-chapter (meaning I can't really have writers' block because I know exactly what I'm writing about!), it's more or less a matter of when I can avoid my homework to get on here! I always have another prepared chapter after I publish one, though, so not to worry.
I will 100% be going back to edit these chapters; I will most likely be combining some together, seeing how some are a little over 1000 words and others are closer to 4000. I'm both indecisive and impatient so the word count is different all around. Consider it a fun little mystery - will the following chapter be longer than the previous??
Please note that although my inspiration/motivation has come from binging various "older time period" movies/books, this plot is my own. I have attempted to roleplay it out with people before and it had been stolen one too many times on that site! If you like the plot and wish to refer to some things I have in it, please just message me. I will act upon it if someone goes against the rules of my copyright agreement.
Below I have face claims of my characters, but do not let this limit your imagination! These are the people I had in mind whilst writing and reading this story, but you are more than welcome to come up with a different visual if you so please.
