Chapter 4: Trapped

Marinette woke up from her small little companion Tikki. "Mari wake up it's time for school!?"

Marinette yawned, while rubbing her eyes. "Uhhh, what time is it!?"

"7:30"

"7:30!? Crap I'm going to be late!" She shouted. Marinette got ready she decided to wear something different. She wore a blue shirt with lose light blue sleeves. Black leggings, up to her knees and a black skirt. She decided to have her hair down and straightened. She got ready, brushed her teeth, grabbed a granola bar, up it in her bag. While walking to school she felt like someone or something was watching her. Her hair stood up. She got to the building and hugged Alya. "Gurl, you alright. I've been worried sick about you!?"

"I'm fine." Marinette lied with a fake smile.

She wasn't fine. She left to go to class very quickly, because she saw the one boy that broke her heart, again. Adrien Agreste. There was something different about the boy, he wore shades to cover his eyes. His bright blue eyes, and a blue hoodie to cover up his white hair. Mari hid at the locker rooms after class was over. She transformed into Ladybug. To get her mind off of things during lunchtime. But, what she didn't know was that something or someone was following her. She her someone shouted. "CATACLYSM!!!"

"GAHH!" She dodged a hit from the cataclysm. It was a blue explosion. She covered her mouth realized that Adrien, her partner, her Chat Noir was no more. And that her nightmares became true for the worst. "Chat Noir..." She whispered to herself. Feeling sadness and guilt all rolled into one. "No......Chat please, where's the Akuma!?"

"Right here M'Lady!" He pointed his heart. With a cocky grin, then to an (I'm going to end you) face. He shooted a cataclysm to her feet, Ladybug jumped.

"Adrien let me help you..."

Chat Blanc put his staff in his position resting his arms. "Adrien Agreste is dead" he placed his hand on his chest. Then glared at Ladybug for her to realize that he wanted to fight. "now, I'm Chat Blanc. And I will destroy you if you don't bring me your MIRACULOUS!" He shouted pointing at Ladybug and running to attack her. Ladybug dodge, used her yo-yo as a shield on the side. "Chat please I don't want to fight you!"

"BUT, I DO!" He used his baton, and tried to attack her. She used her yo-yo to get away. She De-transformed, and checked to see if the close was clear. She gave a macaroon to Tikki, refill her strength. It was almost 22:00/10:00pm she's been fighting against Chat for hours. She missed school because of it. She runs to her house and locked the bakery door, went upstairs and fell on her bed exhausted. She decided to work on some designs and drawings on her sketchbook, on her desk. Her lights went off, a shadowy figure grabs Marinette and put a hand on her mouth. She was about to muffle scream until...

"If you scream I'll kill you! Got that!?"

She nodded and muffled saying yes. The figure released her and sat crossed his legs and arms against the wall.

"What happened to you Adrien!?"

She might as well ask as Mari then Ladybug since he was to kill Ladybug, her other half.

"It's Chat Blanc." He said fidgeting with his sharp piercing claws.

"You're still and always be my Adrien." Mari spoke softly, walking to his path and hugged him. 'Hopefully that will calm him down' she thought.

He released her grip and spoke in a hateful tone, "I thought you still hated me." Then went to go sit on her balcony fence. She followed him and went up next to him. With tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry, Adrien.... This is all my fault. You're Akumatized because of me." She covered her face. He smiled and calmly put her hands down and lifting her head to face him. "It's not your fault. If anyone is to blame is Ladybug!"

She nodded feeling a little better, but he blames her, Ladybug. Not her civilian form. He wrapped his arms around her. Carefully using his claws to wipe her tears away. "Adrien...... Come back, it's not too late to stop this."

"Stop? No Mari this is too important to stop. I must go and find Ladybug." He was about to leave, then with a surprised face in his eyes. Mari stopped him from leaving. "Please..... Stay..... You need to rest up and recharge your strength, so you can fight Ladybug" 'me'

"Alright." He De-transformed back to Akumatized Adrien and went to rest and sleep on Mari's bed. Mari texted her best friend. Alya told her that the school was cancelled for the time being until it was safe till the new villain was stopped. Mari went and stayed on her desk. Until Chat hugged her from behind. "You're mine right Mari!?"

"Right, kitty!" He kissed her again and went back on her bed, later Mari came to her bed to go to sleep. Mari cried silently. Because all transportations where closed down until further notice. Her parents couldn't return. No school until it was safe again. Chat, cuddles and hugged her from behind. She was about to leave, till he opened his eyes and grabbed her arm. He smirked, "we're you going, princess?"

"Ummm. To get check on something in the kitchen...." She rubbed her neck, nervously.

He got up close, "are you lying to me, because if you are you'll have to share the consequences!" He growled, smirking.

She gulped. "Come back to bed!" He said softly in her ear. She obeyed, she was terrified. She knew he would never really hurt her. But still she had to be precautious. He guided back to her bed, went under the covers, grabbed her side, as if he was a tiger, protecting his prey from others.
