Chapter 1-05 ~Hasty Escapee~

~Twisted Wonderland~

Night Raven College - Laboratory

-First Period: Alchemy-

"So you're the new fresh faces who will be joining my class," spoke a man at the center of the laboratory. He had two different hair colours that were both parted to the sides with the longer section in white while the shorter one in black. He was also wearing a half-black and half-white vest under a furry, black-and-white coat.

The man paced around and looked at the students of class 1-A with intrigued eyes, "Hm, I see we have some unusual and rare hair colours in here. Not bad."

He paced around once again and stood near where Himemiya, Grim, Ace and Deuce were standing.

"Make sure you take proper care of it daily and don't let anything damages the look," the man said before his eyes locked at the sight of Himemiya with Grim in her arms.

"And speaking of taking care..." he moved closer to the young woman and much to her surprise, the man stood in front of her and leaned closer.

"Long hair is beautiful and all, little pup. But in my class, they can easily get damaged if you're careless and let it fly all over the place," he said in a warning tone.

Not long after that, he took out a black and white clip from out of nowhere and offered it to her, "Make sure to tie your hair back when you're in MY class. We don't want that hair of yours to burn from the cauldron's fire later on now do you?"

Himemiya said nothing and took the clip as she nodded her head.

"Good. Now, allow me to introduced myself," the man said before going back to the center of the laboratory and stood there.

"My name is Divus Crewel," he said, "You may call me Master Crewel if so you like. Now, go on and take your seats. Class is starting."

Everyone followed his instructions and sat down, all the while waiting for the man to continue.

"First off, starting from the basic," Crewel spoke up, "I'll start off by throwing the names of all 100 medical plants and poisonous plants and how to differentiate them into your tiny brains."

From the statement itself, it almost felt intimidating but Crewel pressed on, "The topics on Mycelium comes later. For now, I'll have you memorize these first so that when you're taking a walk, you won't go picking up stuff and get poisoned by it later." 

Crewel chuckled darkly afterward, "After all, dogs tend to pick and eat things up."

The man began playing around with this teaching pointer and gave them an intimidating look, "As for tests, I better not see a single red mark as I would strictly train all of you from letting that happen. And that's exactly what I planned on doing so."

"I see..." Deuce nodded his head before he leaned towards Himemiya who was sitting beside him and asked in a low volume, "...By the way, what exactly is 'miselium'?"

"Bleghh, I'm bad at memorization though..." Ace mumbled from another side of the young woman while Grim lets out a sigh.

"When it comes to grass, all you have to do is tell which taste good or bad, you know," Grim retorted, seemingly uninterested by the topic.

Meanwhile, Himemiya only had twinkles in her eyes, "Alchemy class...is so cool~"
