Chapter 2
Alucard walks into the airport terminal, looking around he sees the clerks, the American people, their culture and music. There different style, accents, clothing. But it’s nothing but an obstacle in his way.
“Sir, may I help you with anything?” Asks the clerk.
“No, thank you.” Says Alucard, and then he notices a sudden movement of the hand of the clerk under her desk. All of a sudden sirens, lights flashing, people looking confused.
“Get him down now!” yells a voice.
Alucard looks around, sees an American Homeland Security guards sprinting at him from around a corner. He bares his teeth, and goes for his gun, but decides to hold back. The Security surrounds him; all of them have automatic weapons. This is suspicious, why would they make such a big entrance for just one man, one person? That they had no idea he was possibly the most powerful being on earth….So why were they doing that?
“Get down now, hands on head!” barks a guard.
Alucard slightly grins, revealing a small grin creeps across his face; he takes his glasses off and glares at the one who yelled at him.
“What seems to be the problem, sir? I have not done anything but walk across this floor?” Asks Alucard.
“Just get down now, don’t ask questions! Hands on your head now!” Says one of them. Alucard notices that they all have a sense of fear in them… Why would they fear one man, when they themselves are in such a large number, heavily armed. So, why cowering in fear?
“Ahahaha! Really? Have your superiors put you into this situation? I suppose so; you’re all sweating, trembling, even though you are all heavily armed against me.
“I said get down! This is your last warning vampi-“, the guard stutters…
Alucard’s smile widens, showing his fangs. His eyes brighten, flickering.
“Well, it seems you have just made a fatal mistake. Americans, why did you betray your country? Working for those others! You sicken me! You’re scum, pathetic, dogs who only do such petty tasks for money, not ever seeing the bigger picture! I’ll end your pathetic existence here, right now!” As Alucard reaches inside his coat, they open fire on him, ripping him into pieces. The gunshots echo the airport, making civilians scream and run away.
After the smoke clears, they guards seem to be shocked.
“Well, he wasn’t as bad as the priest said.” One of them chuckled.
“Shut up, and keep quiet. We don’t need our words being overheard.” Another says.
The lights flicker, making all them slow their pace and raise their weapons. Looking around, they see the man’s body gone.
“Where the hell is he? He was just right there!” Barks one of them
An eerie feeling comes over all of them.
“I cannot be killed by dogs…Will you stay and fight? Die on your knees like animals, or on your feet like a real man!” A voice says.
“Who said that!?”
The lights go out completely, silence.
“I’ll give you a taste of what you’re up against. Mortal.” Laughs from everywhere.
“Control art restriction levels, release to level 1. To be unlocked until target is rendered silent.”
A glow comes from them monster, all the guards cower in fear.
“What are you!?” Screams them.
“A monster. Now….FIGHT ME!”
The darkness sweeps the floors, grabbing at them, ripping them apart, killing them one by one. They try to shoot but do not succeed….
*Airport security room*
“Wow. How do we combat that?” Says one of them.
“I suppose garlic and holy water?” says the one in the corner, sarcastically.
“We don’t have time for your mouth, Howard!”
“Just saying…. Ass.” Says Howard.
“You’re lucky Maxwell put you in such a high rank, or I’d have you shipped back to the Vatican immediately!” barks the other soldier.
“Yeah, yeah whatever asswipe.” Says Howard.
*Side note* Agent Andrew Thomas Howard is a double agent working for the Vatican, but also The United States. Agent Howard is a cunning, intelligent spy. Yet, he has a change of course once he meets the Monster.
2 weeks later, on the tracks of a locomotive. Agent Howard is going over information, tracking Him.
“We have Intel he is on the move to a remote place, in Alaska. He is after ‘Project V’. If he is able to contact her, God only knows what power they would have once they’re reunited.” Says The Informant.
“I know, it all intrigues me so much. Here, I thought I’d seen it all. War machines capable of taking out country’s electric grid, and all sense of security within seconds, aliens, the supernatural, and so much more. But still, I listened to others talk of him, all of their stories of how he was, ‘Immortal’ and unbeatable…I never really thought about it, Until the London incident. I was shown footage of something’s that just did not seem real.” Howard explains.
“Yes, I was alarmed at all of it as well…But, back to business, we need him found and stopped. We know killing is very risky, and highly unlikely. So, The U.S. and Britain and various other country’s have decided it would possibly be best to arrange some type of deal, to keep him in a remote place. Away from civilization, to keep the general population at ease. London was hard enough to keep under wraps, as I’m sure you know, the Queen almost went with a nuclear solution. We need this taken care of immediately, find him, try to talk and arrange a deal with him, see what he wants in return. We’ll keep you updated with all that we know. Good Hunting, Agent Howard. Out.” The Informant cuts the line.
