{ Who Really Am I? }

??? P.O.V

From what I can remember regarding my childhood , I believe I was a fairly 'normal' child...... Well if you could exclude the fact I was able to hear people's thoughts than I suppose, yes, I was normal. Alas it wasn't just random thoughts I was able to hear, in fact what I was able to hear was quite specific. If I were to ask someone a question I was able to hear their answer, not a lie nor bluff, I was able to mentally hear the truth. I could ask out loud or I could mentally ask, it really depended on me.

Because of this no one is able to lie to me, because of this I know some things I wish I didn't. It may be a curse, it may be a blessing. To me it's simply something I live with, though I will not bluff it surely had its benefits. I walked down to corner store with a hood on my head. I guess I forgot to mention, I'm an escapee, ex-convict,ex-prisoner, or whatever they call it these days. For why I was arrested..... that's a memory from a life I left behind, a memory that should remain buried. At the front of the store I was stopped by a man, "Excuse me miss have you seen this lady?" He said showing me a picture on a scroll. I eyed the picture carefully, truth be told I saw this women on my way here.

'Why do you ask? Who is this women to you?' I mentally pondered towards him, to throw off any suspicion I glared a venomous glare at him. His demeanour shifted from prideful to nervous. " You see, she is my wife, she didn't come home last night and I figured she must've been taken " he lied through his teeth, you see whenever someone lies to me a buzzer goes off in my head, it's quite irritable actually but it alerts me that the truth is not being told. Immediately after he finished his sentence, words being to warp around in my head, forming a sentence. "Tch this brat, that's a slave that works for me, she ran away. "

I deeply sighed, well that was an interesting turn of events. "Sorry, I haven't seen her, good luck sir" I said coldly walking past him giving him a hard pat on the back, I suppose I hit him a little too hard because he let out a dry cough. How unfortunate. I walk into the store and look around.

I pick up a pack of gum and make my way to the counter. "Two (2) grams of green" I whispered handing him the gum. Of course I wasn't here to buy gum, if that's what I wanted I would've simply stole it. "Would you like a receipt as well?" The clerk said eyeing me, I nodded. He went to the back and put something in a bag.

He stuck out his hand, "that'll be 2 dollars." He sneered carefully, I lifted my hood up a bit letting the man catch a glimpse of my face. His eyes made contact with mine, he smirked and handed me the bag. "Pleasure doing business with ya'. Hope to see you again" and with his regards I left the store, I made my way to my residence, which was an abandoned building.

No one lived here, no one came here, it was peaceful. I walk up the stairs all the way to the roof, it took me a decent amount of time considering the building has a hundred floors. I sighed to myself as I reached into the bag I received from the clerk. I took out the weed he sold to me and began to roll it. I needed a break.

My head was spinning and I didn't know why. I sighed heavily as I lit my blunt and held it to my lips, I inhaled and puffed out a cloud of smoke. "Back in my world again?" a chirpy pink headed girl beamed, her name was Sakura, she is a figment of my imagination.... " I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING!! I'M NOT YOUR IMAGINARY FRIEND YOU KNOW! IT TOOK A LOT OF CHAKRA TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS!!!" she yelled, "Yeah yeah took a lot of chakra whatever.... what do you want?" I sighed laying down on my back.

"How was today? " she asked floating next to me,I mentally smile to myself, no buzzer, no words plunging into my mind . Maybe it's because she avoided the question.? Or maybe because she's not real. " It was boring as ever" I said lowly taking another puff. Sakura eyed me carefully. She then smirked, "Hinata you're a strange one." She smiled at me. She took my blunt out of my hand, "if only I knew who you really were..." she mumbled disappearing in smoke.

I wonder where that came from, I walked into one of the rundown hotel rooms and made my way to the washroom. I took a ice cold shower and hopped out with a towel around my body. My raven hair soaking wet sticking to my face as the water droplets hit the ground. I sighed and splashed my face with some wate. I carefully looked at myself in the glass broken mirror. My mind was scrambled, faded even and I know it wasn't from the weed.....

I stare at myself intensely, I let out a huff.

"Who really am I?"
