Chapter 10

There was a knock on the door. I stood up and opened the door meeting Duke. "Hey Coraline you look beautiful." Duke complimented. "Aww thanks and you look cute as ever." I gave him a peck on his cheek and we got into his car. "So where are we going?" I asked Duke since he still hasn't told me. "Oh you'll like I'm sure of it. But it's a surprise I can't tell you now!" Duke said and gave me a wink. I gave him puppy dog eyes and put out my bottom lip. "Please tell me Dukie Duke." I whined. Duke glanced at me then quickly looked away not wanting to fall into the trap. "Please?" I asked again. Duke just turnt up the music and said "What? I can't hear you! The music is too loud!" I grumbled and playfully  rolled my eyes. Duke laughed at me. I bopped my head to the beat of the music. Then an idea popped up in my head. "Duke! Can I hook up my phone to the Bluetooth? I want to play something." I asked pulling out my phone hoping that he'd say yes. "Of course play whatever you'd like to. As long as it's not Cardi B. I'm a barb not a...a Cardi b fan." Duke explained. "You mean Bardigang?" I asked laughing. "Ooh that's what her fans are called! Yeah that's what I meant." We laughed at Dukes amazing knowledge on Cardi b and her fans.  I hooked up my phone to the Bluetooth and played Willy Wonka by Russ. As the song started to play I sung along. This song is a full on bop. "This songs a bop." Duke said while dancing. "That's what I was just thinking! Isn't it a good song?" I said. "It's a great song. What's it called?" Duke asked. "It's called Willy Wonka." I replied and Duke nodded and said "Well this song is perfect for me." I giggled and said "It sure is." After the song was over I knew exactly what to play. I put on Anaconda by Nicki Minaj. I knew Duke liked this song from a live I watched. I gave him a smirk and he smirked back at me. We knew exactly what was about to happen. Duke turnt up the music more. "Boy toy named Troy used to live in Detroit!" I started to sing. "Big dope dealer money, he was gettin' some coins!" Duke sang after me. "Was in shootouts with the law, but he live in a palace" i danced and sung. "Bought me Alexander McQueen, he was keeping me stylish" Duke followed after me.
"Now that's real, real, real!" We both sang. We had a karaoke session in the car from then on. We pulled up to a fair. My eyes went wide and I jumped out of the car. "The fair?! I love going to fairs!" I squealed. Duke laughed and said "Thank gosh I wasn't sure if you liked fairs or not." "Who doesn't like fairs?" I said while taking Dukes hand. We got some unlimited bands so we could ride as many rods as many times as we want to. "So what do you want to do first?" Duke asked. "Ooh! Ooh! Can we go on tilt a wirl? It's my second favorite ride." I pointed to the ride. Duke smiled and said "We lets go on it. What's your first favorite ride?" "You." I did the debby Ryan face and Duke turnt red. I burst out laughing. "Oh you think that was funny huh" Duke playfully said. "Yeah I think I'm the shit." I joked around. "You little..." I ran off to tilt a whirl not heating the rest of Dukes sentence. I stood in line and Duke came up from behind me and started to tickle me. I screamed and laughed swirling around in Dukes arms. "AHHH! DUKE!" I screamed. He laughed evily then eventually let me go. I playfully pushed Duke and he laughed. "You little prick!" I joked. "At least I'm a hot prick though." Duke crosses his arms. "Okay I can't disagree with you on that. "Your a pretty hot prick." I said then walked up to a person to show them our bracelets. We got onto the ride. After the ride we went on scrambler. Next I made Duke get me blue berry cotton candy because cotton candy is the shit. "Wanna go on that ride?" Duke asked pointing to a scary ride. I gulped and nodded my head slowly. "Sure." I said shakily. "We don't have to go on the ride if you don't want to." Duke said. "Nope! Lets go I wanna go on it!" I said confident. We stood in a short line waiting to get on the ride. After a lot of screaming and yelling the ride was over. I dizzily walked off the ride. Duke laughed at the way I was walking. "Never gong on that again." I said while holding onto Duke for support. Duke laughed and said "Okay no more of that ride. How about we go on the swings?" Duke said pointing to a much less scarier ride. "That sounds great." I said starting to walk over to the ride. After the ride was over we went on it again. After that we went on Musical Express. "That's now my third favorite ride." I said when we were getting off the ride. The next ride we went on was the carousel. "Let's go on the drop tower!" I said while tuning to the ride. "Yeah!" Duke agreed with me. After a couple of hours of rides and fair food we decided it was time to go home. We got in the car and started the drive back. It was now night time. "That was so much fun! Thank you for taking me Duke. I had a really nice time." I said smiling. "Your welcome Coraline. I had a really nice time too. It was fun watching you scream on the rides." Duke laughed and playfully smirked at me. I fake gasped putting my hand up to my chest. "You were screaming too!" I argued. "True I was but not as bad as you." Duke argued back. I grumbled and crossed my arms. After a couple seconds of silence we burst out laughing from our silly little argument.
