Wooyoung was at the park, patiently waiting for San, a rose in his hand. His knees shook in nervousness as he waited. Today was the day he was going to confess to his best friend.
He was lost in thought and didn't realized the latter was already there. San tapped on his shoulder, startling him.
"Hi," San smiled, his hands behind his back as he tilted his head.
"Hey.." Wooyoung said as he stood up feeling flustered. He wasn't sure if it was because he was confessing or something maybe it was something else, but San looked prettier today than before. A smile cracked on Woo's face as he thought to himself, before San broke his thoughts.
"Sooo.. What did you want to tell me? And what's up with the rose?" San tilted his head in question. Wooyoung became even more flustered at the comment and took a deep breath before he spoke up.
"Well uhm... the rose is for you.." Woo trailed off handing the latter the rose, before continuing, "Uh I wanted to tell you that uhm..." Woo blushed, screaming on the inside, San becoming more confused.
"Tell me wh-"
"I LIKE YOU-" Wooyoung blurted out, becoming red at the sudden remark before looking down in embarrassment.
"I've liked you since when we first met," Wooyoung said clenching his fists, flashbacks of when they first met flooding back to him, "And until now I've gained the courage to tell you..." Wooyoung swallowed, before he looked up, and saw that San had a surprised look on his face. Woo held his hands and looked at him with a soft expression on his face.
"I want to be something more than just best friends, with you.." Woo began, seeing a light blush creeping up San's face.
"San... Will you be my boyfriend..?" Wooyoung let out, feeling a weight being lifted off his shoulders.
San smiled, "Wooyoung I-"
"Wake up" San ended a frown adorning his face, Wooyoung became confused, 'What?'
"I said... Wake UP." And with that, realization hit.
Wooyoung opened his eyes and saw his mother hovering over him, with an angry expression, "Get up its 8:40 already, you're gonna be late for your classes." Wooyoung sat up quickly and checked the time, seeing it was 7:32. He groaned as his mom left his room, plopping back in his bed.
Monday had came around and Wooyoung dreaded the day already.
"My mom really couldn't have given me at least five more minutes," Wooyoung pouted and screamed into his pillow, "Damn it mom!" Wooyoung sighed, before he sat up again.
"It felt so real too.." Wooyoung trailed off, sad he didn't get to hear San's response. Wooyoung ruffled his hair before he got off his bed, mood ruined.
He got ready for school and ate breakfast, having a good 40 minutes left. 'Damn, five minutes really couldn't of hurt..' Wooyoung thought to himself, still pissed. He went back to him room and sat down on his bed and decided to text his best friend. Before he knew it, it was time for him to go. He picked up his keys and bag and left, driving to pick up his best friend first.
He got to his home and honked. Moments latter, the cheery person came out skipping, "Good morning Woo~"
"G'morning," Woo replied, smiling as San got in.
They drove to the school, as they chatted the whole way there. Wooyoung still thinking about his dream. Once they got there they bid there goodbyes and each went to their classes.
Wooyoung entered the class and sat in his usual seat, in the very back. He sighed and sat on his phone for a bit before the professor came in. As the lecture went on, Wooyoung couldn't see to concentrate, still fixated on the dream he had. 'I wonder what he would've said, would he say yes.. or would he say no?' The thought bothered him as he wanted an answer, and answer that he would be to scared to know. He sighed. 'I guess I'll never know...' He quickly shook the thought away as the professor called on him to answer a question. He answered quickly, thanking God that knew the content.
...
The day went by and before he knew it, it was lunch time. The lunch bell rang and he left to go to the court, to meet up with San.
"Hi Woo!" San said, waving goodbye to his other friends.
"Hi.." Woo said, flustered, not being able to look at him in the eye. San noticed and pouted.
"Why won't you look at me?" San crossed his arms and pouted.
'I want an answer to my dream, whether you want to be my boyfriend or not' Wooyoung wanted to say, but shook it off, "Oh its nothing, I'm just a bit tired.." He smiled. San frowned slightly before smiling.
"Okay then whatever you say... Anyways lets go eat, I'm hungry~~" San said grabbing Woo's hand and pulling him before letting him say anything.
"O-okay" Woo said feeling flustered. 'The way you make me feel Choi San..' Wooyoung thought his heart beating fast. San pulled him to through the halls and onto the roof, where they sat down and ate their lunches.
As they ate, San began to blabber about all the drama that happened in his classes, but Wooyoung was concentrated on something else; San's lips. His bright pink lips that hypnotized him. 'They look so soft and delicate.. How would it feel to kiss them..'
"Hey.. Wooyoung are you listening to m-" He was interrupted. San turned bright red. Before even thinking straight, Wooyoung leaned in ,,,
And kissed him.
