The beginning

Everything was dark, nothing was to be seen. Only the sound of a loud horn was heard, the only survivor to the car wreck. Her name was Crystal. She was a sixteen year old girl who had the skill to fight. But she was never ready for this.

Before we begin on how this happened, lets start from the beginning of that day. As soon as the sun rose, she was up and ready for the day to begin. Her bright blonde hair was a complete mess, it was everywhere. She looked up with her dark brown eyes and blinked a couple times fast. Her room was nothing but Imagine Dragons, her favorite band. She had posters of every track they had ever made from the very first track to the latest one. Looking around, she saw her desk was a mess, her C.D.s were everywhere.

Quickly, she got up. Looking at her clock over door across the room, six in the morning. She moaned, slamming the back of her head against her bright blue pillows. Her bed was simple colors, not really much of a design to it. She threw her blood red blanket off of her, standing in her tang top and basketball shorts.

Yawing loudly, she stretched, spreading her arms out. She rubbed her eyes and pulled some of her blonde hair out of her mouth. Pulling out a black t-shirt that said "I Am A Warrior" on it in big, bold, white letters. It was based on her favorite song, Warriors by Imagine Dragons, of course. Her jeans were dark blue with a blue belt attached to it. She walked out of her room, going for the bathroom, once she realized her hair was a mess, she sighed loudly, having to deal with it was a pain to her, but hey, sometimes you have to go through a little pain to get to look good enough to go out and show your face. She soaked her hair in the sink, drying it barely. She got her brush with nothing on it but black. She brushed her hair in a bit of pain from all of the knots.

By the time she was all done with her hair, and put gel in it, her mother was already up and waiting to do everything she needed to do in the bathroom, but quickly, Crystal brushed her teeth and ran out to put on her socks and shoes. She ran into her room, taking out a pair of sock that were dark blue and her galaxy based sneakers. She then put on a necklace that had a phoenix on it. The phoenix seemed to be on fire, and the whole necklace was silver.

With that, Crystal was ready for her day. Her mother was a spitting image of her, she had green eyes instead of brown eyes like Crystal. Her mother's hair was the same though, long and wavy. Other than their eyes, the two were practically twins! Her mother put her hair in a messy bun and had on her suit for work. Crystal's hair was down and flowing down past her shoulders. It was Friday, so Crystal could finally relax after that day was over.

"Mom!" Crystal called from her room, putting her homework in her book bag,"I'll meet you in the car!"

"Okay hun!" her mother called out.

"Don't call me that.." Crystal muttered with a deep sigh.

She quickly ran past the bathroom door, going into the kitchen and grabbing a PopTart and running out the door. She snatched the keys from the counter in the kitchen after she got her PopTart. With a smile, she opened the door and jumped into the passenger's seat with a smile on her face still. She had a convertible, the hood was up and the dark red car was as shiny as ever. They saved up a lot of money to get this car.

Crystal turned on the car with one of the many keys that was in her hand. The car growled loudly before turning on. Crystal sat back, turning on the radio, the song that played was by Fall Out Boy, it was called Centuries. Crystal smiled and ended up lip sinking the song as it played. Her smile stayed in place. Her mother soon walked down the couple steps and got into the car, at the very end of the song. She sighed, then yawned.

Crystal chuckled at her yawn. She pressed a button in the car and her C.D. that was in started to play. It was not Imagine Dragons though. It was Kelly Clarkson. I don't quite know which album it was though. Crystal glared over at her mom and smiled. Soon enough, they were off and the school was down past their street, to the right and all the way to the end of that road. It may not sound like it was a long way there, but the streets there are very, very long.
