Chapter 10

Bradley's POV

16 hours, that's it. 16 hours until I, we leave for Australia. I can't believe I'm going to Australia, well we're going to Australia because Carter's coming. This has been my dream ever since I can remember. Once we started our summer trips I've waited patiently for this one in particular. I've dreamt about how amazing a summer in Australia could be and i'll finally be experiencing it, with my best friend. Before I knew it I was dozing off dreaming of my new summer.

I was awoken by an overly dressed Carter. She had her hair done and full makeup on. I was confused at first considering we would be on a plane half the day, but then I remembered that it was Carter. Carter was always the one to dress up just in case there would be a good looking boy on board. I quickly jumped out of bed and grabbed my suitcases so we could leave as soon as possible.

"Ready!" I screamed running down the stairs. I sat in the car waiting for my parents and Carter to join me. As we headed to the airport I looked out the window to excited to sleep like Carter. We walked through the airport and boarded our plane. As we boarded the plane I made sure to go in-front of Carter so I could get the window seat. I looked out the window as we descended while falling asleep.

"Ladies and Gentlemen we will be landing shortly" I heard the flight attendant say as I started to wake up. I couldn't wait to get off this plane and explore my dream town of Sydney. We got off the plane, got our luggage and headed towards our rental car. We drove silently to our temporary home. When we got to the house Carter and I ran in to see our new room. Our new room was orange with matching beds one in black and one in white. We quickly unpacked then asked to go around town.

Since my parents had to unpack everything they surprisingly let us go alone. Carter and I walked along the streets admiring the ocean and sky and how the shades of blue complimented the rest of the city.

While we were walking past what I guess was a local park we heard music. We stopped at the park to see what was going on, I believe it was called Hyde Park but I had no idea. As we turned the corner we saw what was causing the music, it was three boys that looked about our age or maybe a couple years older. We sat there for what felt like hours watching the boys play multiple songs, which were incredible might I say. It wasn't until I heard the intro for Jasey Rae that I was hooked on these boys. (All Time Low was my favorite band). They were amazing at singing the cover of one of my favorite songs. As they got to my favorite part I started to sing along

As I looked at the lead singer his eyes were already on mine, and for some reason I thought maybe he was singing at me. I immediately turned away while a slight blush crept on my already naturally pink cheeks. I took a quick glance at the boy with blonde hair and didn't realize he was coming my way until Carter walked away giving me a wink.
