Yu Kashima: "Yes, Mikoto Mikoshiba is my younger brother."

--Hanako Miyazaki

Yu Kashima, one of the world's most premiere actresses, had been publicly outed as the heiress of the Mikoshiba zaibatsu, during the wedding of her reclusive younger brother, Mikoto Mikoshiba, last Sunday.

Mikoshiba had gotten married to Chiyo Hori, who is in turn the only daughter of the successful Hori zaibatsu. Hori's elder brother, Masayuki, current CFO of the Hori Group Of Companies, had been the president of the Roman Academy drama club that Kashima had professed to being part of when she first started acting; it has been rumored that he was the so-called senpai that Kashima had once professed to be 'the greatest actor' that she had ever seen.

Kashima, whose claim to fame had been blockbuster films like Personal Preference and Utena and seminal stage plays like last year's production of Princess Knight, had been spotted in a chic white sheath dress, alongside heiress Yuzuki Seo and personal assistant to the stars Yukari Miyako. Sources say that she served as bridesmaid, alongside an equally sharply-dressed Masayuki Hori.

"Yes, it's true, Mikoto Mikoshiba is my younger brother," admitted Kashima, "I took my mother's stage name when I first debuted, for personal reasons." She then went on to say that more about this issue would be explained in full during an upcoming press conference.

"Today is Mikoto's day, not mine," Kashima went on to say, "I would be greatly distressed if such a happy occasion were overshadowed by little old me."

SPOTTED: Hollywood's Japanese sweetheart, stumbling drunkenly into a swanky hotel room with an attractive brunette. Could this be the non-showbiz Prince Charming she'd always been fawning about in all her interviews?

"Mikorin! Mikorin, gosh, you look so cute in a power suit, sweetie."

"Yu, stop embarrassing me," Mikorin grunts, flushing madly, his cheeks almost the exact same color as his fire-engine-red hair. Yu smiles a smile sweet as sugar-spun cotton candy because her little brother is so cute, has always been this cute, and it's nice to see that after twenty-eight years on this green earth his little tics are still exactly the same. "We're in the workplace, sis, for crying out loud, geez."

"Aw, but it's coffee break! Is my little sugar plum getting shy about his dearest little sister embarrassing him in front of his lady co-workers?" Yu persists, nuzzling Mikorin's burning cheek against hers. In the distance, said lady co-workers go into different stages of swooning. One of them probably broke her coffee mug. "Don't worry, ladies - blush or no blush, you think that Mikorin is totally manly and in-charge, right?"

"Yeah!"

"Of course, Kashima-san!" ("'Kashima-kun', please, princess,") "...I mean, yes, Kashima-kun!"

"Your brother's just as charming as you are, Kashima-kun!"

"Yeah! And he's a good boss, to boot!"

"See? They'll never think lowly of you, just 'cuz neechan decides she wants to spoil you like crazy, Mikorin." Yu croons, cradling Mikorin's head in her arms like a newborn baby, and Mikorin wants to bolt. It's good that Yu's helping out with the merger stuff, but...why him, why this, why now. "Thanks for the good words, lovely ladies!"
