A New Year

A time to start over-

A new beginning.

The new year is here,

The old is ending.

I sit next to you,

and my head starts to spinning,

At the fun to come.

(What I expect and then some)

This year won't be bad,

It will be just the best.

It will be the year,

To beat out the best.

A full year with you,

Is starting- brand new.

This great time of fun,

That I look forward to.

Last year a coaster,

This to be smoother-

Now that I hold you,

Tight in my arms.
