The Deal

A/N's POV:

"Morning babe, should I drop you off to work today?" Jungkook asked Yejin, while driving.

Sol had insisted on staying home and spending some time alone, binging on kdramas.

"Aww hon, that's so sweet of you. Are you back in Seoul already?"

"Well, yeah...something came up urgently."

"Hmm...how is Sol?"

"She's doing better. She can move around the house limping now. My back aches from carrying her all around." he giggled, scrunching his nose.

There was a long pause.

"Babe?"

Pause.

"Hello? Yejin?"

"Uh? Ye-yeah...listen Kook, my manager said he'd give me a ride today coz we have to discuss my new contract on the way." she lied.

"Oh ohkay...?"

"Will catch you later then. I can hear him honking outside." she lied again.

"Oh cool. I love you. Stay safe."

"You too Kook. Love you" she hung up.

In reality, Yejin was a teeny bit jealous that he'd carried Sol around. Yes, she was sensible enough to reason that it was only because she was hurt, but a part of her couldn't help but feel a little jealous.

Opening Instagram, she decided to scroll through her feed to distract her. 

Oh wait, Jimin had posted some story. 

She opened it immediately.

"On my way to work. Hope I get that deal ;)" his caption read. It was a boomerang of him driving to work with a Starbucks milkshake in his hand. 

Yejin didn't know if it was her desire to befriend Jimin coz he seemed like a nice guy or if it was because she felt a little hurt by Jungkook's actions a while ago, she ended up replying to Jimin's story.

"Hope so too! Fighting :)"

She immediately got a reply back.

Jimin really got no jams  (-_-)  

"Heyy, how you been?" it read.

"Good. You've come back to Seoul too?"

"Yupp, a company from Japan wants to sign a deal with us, but another company wants them to sign a deal with them instead. So, we're deciding based on votes."

"Ohhh, what's the name of the other company btw?"

"Jeon corp"

HOLY MOLLY WHAT!?

"Umm...you know Jungkook's full name is Jeon Jungkook right?"

"NOOOOO, you gotta be kidding me!"

"Yupp, what you're thinking is right xD"

"Holy shit, so I'm competing against Jungkook to get a deal signed. Also, that bitchass is a CEO?!?"

"Hey, that's my boyfriend you're talking about xD"

"Haha. I'll catch you later then. Need to park my car ;)"

"Oh cool. No problem. See ya :)"

Throwing aside her phone, she began to get ready for work.

Sol was excited to be all alone. She really wanted some  time to herself.
