Meeting Jet

♡Alex's pov♡
After bending my small boat to the main land, I grabbed my bag before walking into the forest. It was a long way to the southern water tribe and I didn't wanna be sleeping on a tiny boat the whole time.

After walking for a few hours I hear noises in the trees. I stopped walking and looked around. Suddenly a group of kids came down from the trees. After looking towards the leader I realized it was Jet. Considering I'm ten at the moment he should be eleven meaning he created the freedom fighters about three years ago. "Who are you and what are you doing here" Jet questioned me. "Uh well my names Alex and I'm just a traveler." "Why would a kid like you be by yourself?" He questioned quite rudely if I do say so myself. "Because I wanna be. Whys a group of kids like you by themselves?" I sassed back. "My names Jet and I'm the leader of the freedom fighters" "whats the freedom fighters?" I asked faking my ignorance. "We fight against the fire Nation and judging of your clothes your from a water tribe. Why dont you join us?"

Honestly I don't really want to but I feel like he's not asking. "Sure I can join you for a bit" I said with a nervous smile. "Great we'll bring you to our headquarters" Jet smiled before taking my hand and leading me to their headquarters.

Once we got to a certain area they stopped. Jet handed me one of the ropes. "Hang on". The rope zipped up and I was up in the trees with wood houses all around me. It was pretty cool in my opinion. Once Jet came up he walked over to me. "Ill show you your room, just follow me" he said smiling. He sure did seem less cocky at the moment. I followed him as he lead me to a small tree house. "Here's where you'll be staying I'll come get you before dinner and we can talk more" "ok thanks Jet" I said smiling.

Once he left I sat down on the bed and sighed. 'I was supposed to meet sokka and Katara. Now I'm stuck here. It could be fun though, probably more fun then the southern water tribe but still'

○Time Skip (1 year)○
I was jumping threw the trees with Jet next to me. 'I feel like a niga from Naruto right now' as we came to a stop above a group of fire Nation soldiers I mentioned for Smeller Bee to get ready as Jet did the same with Longshot. At the right moment all four of us jumped down and attacked the soldiers. When we were done and the soldiers were all unconscious we took any useful supplies.

Once we got back to headquarters Jet pulled me away from the others. "Jet wassup?" "Alex I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight. Just me and you this time" he asked nervously. "Sure I don't see why not" I gave a small smile before walking over to The Duke.

○Time Skip○
I was in my room when I heard a knocked. I walked out of my room and smiled at Jet. Jet softly smiled before taking my hand and dragging me some where. "Where are we going Jet?" "Its a secret" Jet winked before moving some leaves out of the way. When the leaves were moved I saw a balcony facing the stars. The floor had a blanket laid down with some snacks. "S-so what do you think" Jet asks nervously. "I think its beautiful" I grinned before glomping him.

Jet blushed before hugging me back. 'Jet acts alot differently then in the show now that I think about it, although that might just be because we're kids' when I let go of him we sat down on the blanket and began eating snacks. We ended up talking for hours before we laid down and watched the stars.

"Hey Alex, what do you think of the fire Nation?" I took some time thinking before I replied. "Well I don't think all of the fire Nation is bad just a part of it is. It just so happens that the bad part is in control right now." He stayed quiet for a bit before getting up. "Jet, are you okay?" I asked concerned. "Sorry Alex but I cant agree with you." as he began to walk away I got up and hugged him from behind. "Its ok that we think differently but don't ever try to block me out" I felt Jet pull my hands off him before turning around and hugging me. We sank to the floor as I felt something wet dripping on my neck. 'He's crying' I thought as I traced circles on his back and stayed like that for awhile.

○Time Skip (1 year)○
I was at a lake near headquarters practicing my water bending. As I punched the air a ball of fire formed before hitting a tree. The tree lit on fire and I rushed to put it out with my water bending.

I stared at the burnt tree as I realized the second element I could bend was fire. 'Awe darn nuggets Jets gonna freak if he finds out'.

I decided at that moment to leave the freedom fighters. If I stay and someone finds out I can fire bend it'd end badly for me. I shoved my belongings in a bag as fast as I could without making to much noise. When I was done I hid the bag under my bed and continued the day normally. Once it got dark out and I knew everyone was asleep I quickly left headquarters.

I got a small boat and started making my way to the southern water tribe. After a long ass boat ride, and some back pain that makes me feel like I'm Ninety I reached the outskirts of the southern water tribe. Hakoda saw me and started walking towards me. "Hi I'm princess Alex from the northern water tribe."

After being political I was welcomed to the southern water tribe. Hakoda even wanted to introduce me to his kids, which I was all up for. "Kids I'd like you to meet princess Alex. Princess Alex this is my son Sokka and my daughter Katara." "Hi!" I grinned excited to finally meet them after living in atla for 12 years. "Whoa pretty" I heard Sokka mumble as he looked at me.

○Time Skip (1 year)○
So Hakoda's leaving for the war right now and can I just say watching Sokka and Katara say bye is so sad. I walked up to Hakoda as he ended his hug with the siblings. "Bye uncle Hakoda I'll miss you" "goodbye Alex I'll miss you to" Hakoda sofly smiled as he pat my head 'great now I wanna cry'. Me and the siblings waved as the shipped left the southern water tribe.
