I hopped out of the car and squinted in the annoyingly bright sun. I looked around in disgust. There probably wasn't even going to be enough cables for all of my hair supplies. I looked at my mom in disgust. I still can't believe that she is making me go to a summer camp for two months. I walked over to the trunk and started pulling out all ten of my bags. After I bid my farewells to my mother she quickly drove off. She seemed almost relieved to get me off of her shoulders. I sighed and grabbed three of my bags.
" Lucas, if you don't stop I'll run you through with my sword" a girl warned, as a hot and I mean hot boy poked her side. I almost passed out. It was like love at first sight. The girl jogged over to me.
" hey do you need help with that? She asked. I looked her up and down critically. She was wearing a baggy save the whales t-shirt tucked into basketball shorts. Basketball shorts!! I mean eww. Without waiting for a reply she easily scooped up five more of the bags. Looking over her shoulder she yelled
" Lucas! Get your butt over here!" The hot boy who I assumed was Lucas jogged over and grabbed the remaining two bags.
" I'm CJ by the way," the girl said.
"CJ" I asked " Is that a girl's name?" CJ only sighed and shook her head.
"CJ stands for Charlotte Jane," Lucas explained.
"She just goes by CJ"
"Why" I asked
"Charlotte Jane is too girly" she said walking towards a grassy area where the rest of the campers were seated. She sat down next to a small bright orange Duffel bag. I looked around.
Where's your stuff? I asked. " Right there," She said, gesturing to the orange backpack
. "That's all?!" I asked incredulously.
"All I need. She said with a Shrug. She plopped down on the grass, Lucas following her lead. The camp counselors whistled for our attention and with that, summer camp started.
