(Y/N)'s POV:
You lightly pulled the blade across your wrist and watched as bright red blood dripped from your arm. You continued, going deeper as you went and eventually moving to your other arm. You were beginning to see spots and felt dizzy. You were sitting in a small puddle of blood when you finally lost consciousness.
Jake's POV:
I finished cooking and walked upstairs to tell (Y/N) that breakfast was ready. I knocked on the door and there was no answer.
"(Y/N) breakfast is ready." I said.
No answer.
"(Y/N)?"
I was getting worried. I tried to open the door but it was locked.
"(Y/N) open the door!" I yelled.
I looked under the crack and saw blood on the floor with (Y/N) laying in it. I jumped up and yelled for the guys to come up. I stepped back and with all my strength, kicked the door in.
I ran to (Y/N)'s side and lifted her head into my lap. She was cold. I was crying when the guys got upstairs. Andy called 911 and we soon heard sirens outside. The medics lifted (Y/N) onto a stretcher and carried her downstairs to the ambulance.
Everything was happening in a blur and I really didn't know what was going on until I was sitting next to (Y/N)'s hospital bed. The doctors told us that we were lucky that we found her when we did. A few minutes later and she likely would've been dead. She had lost way too much blood and was barely hanging on.
The guys had left to speak with the doctor so I was alone in the room with (Y/N). She was pale but looked peaceful and had several bags of fluids hanging next to her. I took her cold hand in mine and kissed it.
"You promised you wouldn't hurt yourself again. You promised." I said.
I didn't know if she could hear me but I hoped she did. I rested my head in my hands as I held hers against my forehead.
(Y/N)'s POV:
"You promised you wouldn't hurt yourself again. You promised." You heard someone say.
It was Jake. You tried your hardest to open your eyes, but it was really difficult. You finally managed to lift your eyelids and looked over at Jake. You hated seeing him so hurt. You felt tears running down your own cheeks as you moved your hand to his cheek. He lifted his head quickly and a look of relief washed over him.
"I'm sorry Jake. I'm so so so sorry. I shouldn't have. It was a mistake." You sobbed.
"It's okay (Y/N). But please please please tell me next time if you ever feel like that again. Please don't be afraid to talk to me love. If you tell me next time, maybe I can help."
"Okay." You said. "I'll tell you."
Jake nodded for you to continue.
"When I was a child, my father sexually abused me. I've never gotten past it. It keeps me up some nights." You said.
Both of you were crying. Jake hugged you while you cried, fresh memories tearing at your soul.
"I'm so sorry (Y/N). You never deserved that. But you know what? I'm here now and I'll protect you no matter what. I love you so much and I'm going to help you get through this no matter what it takes."
"Jake." Ashley poked his head in the door and called Jake out to the hallway.
He stood up and followed.
Jake's POV:
"The doctor said (Y/N) is stable enough to go home for the night but she has to be watched around any sharp objects just in case." Jinxx said.
"Really?" I asked.
They all nodded. We went into the room and I told (Y/N) and got her ready to go home. While we were driving, (Y/N) fell asleep on my shoulder. When we got back, I gently picked her up and carried her inside and up to her room, placing her on her bed. I pulled the blankets up over her and was about to leave when (Y/N) called me.
"Jake?" She asked quietly.
"Yes love?" I said, turning back around to her.
"Will you stay in here tonight?"
"Of course sweetheart."
I took my shirt off and changed my pants, climbing in bed next to her. I wrapped my arms around her, being careful not to hurt her.
"Goodnight my love." I said.
There was no answer since she had fallen asleep already. I kissed her forehead and fell asleep too.
-----3 weeks later-----
(Y/N) has been doing much better and is almost completely healed. She was finally living again and enjoying life.
There was one night when she came to me when she had been reading some comments. The guys and I had made an agreement to stop posting on all social medias until people agreed to stop posting hate. Believe me. It cleared up real quick.
I loved (Y/N) with all my heart and it made me so happy to see her happy again.
