"Hey Lilly, What's up?" I asked my best friend as I walked into school one day.

"Oh you know the usual, plotting the many ways in my head to kill your boyfriend if needed." she said.

"I guess that is normal isn't it?" I replied laughing slightly at her comment.

My boyfriend, Mason and I have been dating for a while now. My friends don't particularly like him, and he doesn't like them much either. There is one of my friends he gets along with. Sometimes. Her name is Sandra, she is one of the best friends a girl could ask for. She is crazy spunky and everything else. She has naturally curly hair but she straightens it. She dyes it a lot though. So it's almost never her natural color. We're almost always together. Our parents are great friends with each other as well. Sandra and I are complete oposites. She is loud and well, not shy. I am quiet and really shy.

"Lizzy? Hello? Anyone in there?" Lilly asked me waving her hand infront of my face.

"Oh, waht? Sorry I spaced out again didn't I?" I said.

"Yeah, a little bit. Haha it's okay, did you hear anything I just said?"

"Nope not at all." I told her honestly.

"I asked if you and Mason were going to go on the double with Torrin and I?" She asked me.

"Ummm, yeah sure, when?"

"Probably this weekend. We're going to go see the new James Bond movie, and then go find something to eat." She told me.

"Okay, I'll tell Mason."

"Okay, see you fifth period!" She said as the warning bell rang.

As I was heading to class I saw the beach ball, Tara. She is the rudest, meanest and most popular girl in my grade. I never liked her, from the day we first met, there was something odd about her that I didn't like. So I avoided her. And have done so successfully for more than two years now.

I haven't always lived in Oberlin. I used to live in Dayton, Ohio. It wasn't a great neighborhood but I had my best friend/ sister who lived right next door. I lived in the same house next door to her for seven years. And now that I've moved away, I miss her so much. It literally hurts. The first few months were the worst, I cried myself to sleep. I didn't talk to anyone at school, and I was pretty much that girl who ate lunch by herself in the corner of the lunch room.

One day, I was siting by my self as usual and a guy walks up and asks if he can sit with me. I knew he was in some of my after noon classes and in band in the morning with me. His name was Mason. He plays French horn and I play trumpet. So we sit near each other in band. I told him he could sit with me. We started talking, and ever since we've been great friends.

About a month after the day he first started sitting with me he asked me out. I said yes and well, we've been dating for almost two years now. On January 15 it will be our anniversary. That was all in seventh grade, we're now in ninth grade at OHS.

Yes we're young and all but we love each other. All of our friends think we're perfect together. Heck even Lilly's mom says we are. Our art teacher thinks we're going to grow up and get married. She's pretty out there though.. She's a great teacher one of my absolute favorites actually. Anyway, back to Mason. He's the best boyfriend a girl could have. He's loyal, nice sweet and super adorable when he gets jealous of my friends 'having' me. I don't know what I'd do without him. He's not only my boyfriend, but my best friend. We're the cliché "best friends who suddenly one day are dating" couple. When he started talking to me, I can out of my shell and found friends.

Lilly was my first friend after Mason. She moved here about two weeks after Mason talked to me the first time. We hit it off immediately.
