Tsukishima's POV
I woke up the next morning still feeling tired. I picked up my phone to check the time. It read 6:32 AM. The other two were still asleep so I had to be quiet. Not that I really cared I just didn't feel like getting yelled at by Daichi.
I decided to take a walk and explore the Island a bit. It was only about 3 miles square so it wouldn't take long for me to walk it.
I left a note to tell the others where I went and walked out the door. The sun was only just risen, and it was quite beautiful. The sun reflected off the fog and made little light shows on the ground. The island was basically all forest, with a little beach around the edge where we were staying.
I walked into the forest. I was a good ways in when I heard crying.
This island is uninhabited, right?
I kept walking forward. I was sure I was hearing things. This island was only just discovered. No way could someone survive long without help from the outside world.
I kept walking and the crying got louder. Between the sobs I heard little sniffles. And a voice.
"Stupid, stupid. Suga told me so many times not to walk off. And look where I am."
I froze. The voice was definitely human. It sounded like a male, about 16, maybe 17.
Impossible. No one his age could survive by himself.
I tried to turn around and go back to tell Daichi and Asahi about the voice but the most cliche thing happened.
I stepped on a stick and broke it.
"Who's there?" I heard the boy get up. What would happen if he found me?
"Show yourself! I'm armed!"
He's what? Well, I don't feel like dying today.
I walked toward the sound of the voice.
There was a small clearing surrounded by trees.
That's where I saw him.
It looked like a guessed his age right. He had medium length green hair and freckles all over his face. He had a white buttoned shirt and brown pants. Both covered in dirt. To be honest he was kind of cute.
"W-who a-are you?" He looked scared of me. I don't blame him. I am quite tall.
I tried to take another step toward him but he pulled a knife out of his boot and pointed it at me.
"Who are you!" He asked again.
"My name is Kei Tsukishima."
He lowered his knife but still had it in his hand.
"Drop all your weapons!" He yelled, he was shaking.
"I don't have any."
"Liar!"
He started shaking more. He looked like he might collapse.
"I told you, I don't have any!" I started to get angry with this stranger.
I felt a breeze against my left ear. I looked behind me to see his knife embedded into a tree.
Did he just try to kill me?
I turned back around to face the boy again but he had disappeared into the fog.
What is going on?
To make sure I wasn't dreaming I walked to the tree to look at the knife.
It was very much real, and if he had hit me with it, it would be an instant kill.
"Well thank god he had bad aim." I whispered. It would have sucked to die on the first day of this job.
I looked up to see the sun already halfway through the sky.
Better head back. I don't want to run into him again.

I started to run back the way I came. I came out of the forest to see our cabin.
Oh thank the gods.
I ran up to the door and slammed it shut. Sliding against the door and sinking to the floor.
Daichi and Asahi ran in. They looked concerned.
"Tsukishima! What happened?" Daichi asked me.
"T-there was this, this guy. And, and he almost killed me!" I probably came off as hysterical by this point.
"Ok, Tsukishima. Let's get you something to eat. How about we go lay down on the couch, ok?" Daichi asked.
I nodded and he led me to the couch. Asahi came in with some toast and put it down in front of me.
"So, tell us what happened." Daichi asked.
"Well, I got up early and decided to take a walk and explore a bit. It was foggy and I was kind of walking aimlessly. Then I started to hear crying. I thought I was hearing things but as I kept walking it got louder. I tried to turn back but I stepped on a stick. He told me to show myself and I did. Then he pulled a knife on me! He told me to drop my weapons and whenI said I didn't have any he called me a liar and then threw his knife at me! He only missed me by like half and inch! I swear i'm not crazy!" I was yelling by the end of that.
"Ok, Tsukishima. This isn't like you. Do you think you were just seeing things because of the fog?" Daichi asked, concern in his voice.
"NO! He was real!" I screamed.
"Well, how about this. You stay here with Asahi and I go out and try to find this mystery man. OK?" Daichi asked.
I nodded suddenly feeling exhausted from all that had happened. I laid down and fell asleep.
This would be quite the final.

So I was bored yesterday and I read through my story 'Spirits' and OH MY GOD it was so bad. How could anyone read that?
Well, hopefully this story will be better. I'm going to pre-write a bunch of chapters today because I got a big burst of inspiration this morning.
I don't like coffee so I drink hot chocolate instead and it's just not cutting it. Help me.
Well, off to write like the world is ending. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
