Silence
That was all that could be heard.
Feeling the air of the worried kids who sat at there desk waiting for the next instructions. It was a regular Friday, she was in math class about to take her pencil out the bag to complete the test handed out to them, when the muffled voice of the intercome came on.
There is a school shooter on campus please remain calm, follow your teachers in a calm manner this is not a drill-
Her voice was cut off by the sound of a bullet, which sent screams and gasps around the classroom. It seemed as if we were all frozen in time Ms. Luchina the math teacher didn't move. We stared at her waiting for a command but there was none. Only when Dasi, my freind who sat besides me started to move on the other side of the classroom away from the door did the other students including the teacher follow.
As soon as the last child made there way to the apple poster that sat in the back of the class, did she hear 5 shots followed with screaming of children. You could hear the pitter patter of footsteps, coming towards the door. In the window you could see kids, faces bloodied, looking disheveled, with pleasing eyes begging us to open the door. Ms. Luchina went towards the door to let them in, they ran in towards us, piling up so high they covered the poster.
Just as she was closing the door a foot stepped in and prevented it from fully closing. A man with all black clothing stepped in, and shot
Mei Tunner, the girl right in front of the apple poster. Her body fell to the ground, making a thud and a crunch of bone. Her blood running down the plastic poster of the apple that had the names of the students on it. Her name happened to be the one on top the blood flowing directly on her name, tainting the once white stick note.
Deathly silence
The kids did not dare to move a muscle. The man in black said "You come with me" he gestured towards me.
Oh shit.
