Some think magic is real. Some are non-believers. Some are fans. Some are haters. Then there's me. One who possesses magic. There's no one else like me. I'm the last wizard on earth actually. I knew since I was younger. I used to crawl around the house casting spells, that only I could see. I would laugh. No one else would see. I would giggle, and no one else would care. I was ignored, and no one else cared, because of this I grew up independent. Moved out after I got my license, and taught myself how to control these "powers." You don't believe me? Trust me you will. I'm much older now. 25 years old. A husband and a kid. I don't use my powers much, but when I do it's for useful things, not maturity like when I was little.
I grabbed the car keys and hurried out the door.
"Kaylee get in the car, your going to be late." I told my 6 year old daughter.
"Bye" I told Sam, my husband.
I dropped Kaylee off at school and hurried to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine. When I walked in everyone stared. 36 people staring me in the eyes. I felt my adrenalin rush. Just smile, just smile. I told myself. The stares didn't stop though. It was just stares, stares, and more stares. I walked to the counter and they began chattering and mumbling among themselves. Then they began pointing. Then yelling.
"Run away."
"Stay back she's dangerous."
"She's going to kill us all."
I looked at myself and seen my skin glowing. My powers. There- there freaking out. No not here. This is bad. I ran out and hid behind a old trash bin until my skin stopped glowing.
I picked up Kaylee and went home. I told Sam what happened since he's one of the only people who know my little-magical secret. Kaylee was to young to know. I didn't want to scare her. My skin glowed again.
"Mom what's wrong with your skin?" She asked.
"Nothing I'm just trying on a Uh-mm costume." I said.
I tucked her in and went to sleep. To my surprise something crazy happened the next day. Something you wouldn't expect.
