CHAPTER 11
Chose
It's already 12am when I got home. In our mansion precisely. Nag-hire na ako sa grab para hindi na matagalan pa. When I got home, may ilaw pa sa kusina. Sina Manang Rosa pala nagliligpit ng gamit.
"Oh, Mam Ziya! Kala ko hindi kayo uuwi. Kumain na ho ba kayo?" Manang Rosa asked while wiping the plates.
I nodded and smiled weakly, "Anong meron po, Manang?" I asked.
'Yung ibang maids din ay busy sa pag-aayos. It's already midnight yet they're busy cleaning. They have to rest too.
"Ah, may paparty lang ng konti si Sir Victor. Alam mo na. Salamat sa Diyos at matiwasay ang eleksyon noong lunes." Masayang sambit ni Manang.
They are busy for Dad's victory. Dad made it to the senate. As a daughter, I can't decide on what to do. I have to figure out a way.
"Sige, Mam Ziya. Magpahinga ka na po."
"Kayo rin po, Manang. Your work is too much, it's already midnight. Magpahinga po kayo kaagad after niyan."
"Salamat, Mam Ziya!" Then I waved goodbyes to them.
Diretso ako sa aking kwarto dahil sa puyat ay hindi ko namalayang nakatulog na pala ako.
Kinaumagahan, late akong nagising. When I saw my clock, it says 10:56am. Good thing wala akong trabaho dahil day off ko.
I noticed that I couldn't managed to change my clothes last night. I'm still wearing my office attire! 'Yung hand bag ko nasa tabi ko pa. Nagkalat rin ang aking mga damit na hindi pa napalaundry.
Hays Ziya! Kwarto pa ba 'to?
I immediately went to bathroom to take a bath. After a couple of minutes or hours, perhaps, I was done with my daily routine. I started to organize my things here when someone knock my door.
"Sandali!" I shouted while putting my laundry basket in its place.
Magpapalaundry ako ngayon.
Maya pa ay marahas na kinatok ang pinto, nakakairita naman!
"Sabing sandali lang-" the moment I opened the door, Kuya cut me off.
"You have a visitor." He said while smirking. His right hand was holding a cup of coffee. Bagong gising din 'tong kumag!
"Oh? Tapos?" Inis na sambit ko,
I went immediately to my laundry basket to segregate my clothes. I leave the door opened and Kuya's there, so hindi ko na isinara.
