My Ginger Boy's Baby (A Luke Cutforth Story:Sequel)

Telling Party

Olivia's POV

August, 22nd

It's been 2 weeks since Luke and I found out I'm pregnant. Yesterday I had my first ultra sound and found out I'm 3 weeks along, so I'll be 1 month in 1 week, on the 29th. My due date is April 29th, but the doctor said it will most likely be a May baby. I should be able to find out the gender at my 5 month ultra sound. I can't wait.

Today Luke and I are having a small party, with our close friends and any family we didn't get to tell. I made had to make everything vegan so our vegan friends could eat as well. I made pizzas, cookies, cup cakes and I put out a vegetable tray, fruit tray and a few bowls of chips. I got plastic cups and a sharpie so everybody could write their name on their cup. I had juices and pop and water for everybody to drink. I think this party is going to be pretty successful.

I went into my room and changed into leggings, and a blue to white ombre shirt. I quickly did my nails, a black to white ombra, then I applied a natural eye make up and some lip gloss. I curled my long brown hair and slipped on some bracelets and my silver heart neacklace that Luke got me. Luke just got home, Emma was with him. She had no way of getting here, so Luke went and picked her up. I opened up the door and hugged her. "Emma I missed you so much!" I said. "Aw, I miss ya too love" Emma said and hugged me back. "So, what's this party for?" Emma asked. "Just a little get together with my friends and my sister and step-brother are coming too." I said and smiled. "Oh, okay" Emma said. "You look really nice" Emma said. "Aw thanks Em, you look good too" I said and Emma smiled. "Thanks" she said and we all went inside.

About 30 minutes later everybody showed up but my siblings, their late, like always. I started pacing a bit in the kitchen. Luke walked in. "Olivia, don't worry, they'll come" Luke said and hugged me tightly. I heard a knock on the door. "Must be them" I said and rushed to the door. I opened it and their stood my 25 year old sister and my 17 year old brother. My sister is tall, tan, and blonde and my step-brother is tall, tan, and blonde and has freckles. I'm shorter than them both, pale and I have dark brown hair. Kyle looks more like my sister than I do. "OMG! Livvie! You look so pretty and grown up!" My sister, Ashley said. "Oh, thank you." I said and awkwardly hugged her. "Hey Olivia, you got ho-I mean beautiful." Kyle said and smiled. "Um t-thanks" I replied.

I brought them inside and introduced them to everybody. "And finally this is Luke, my husband." I said nervously. "Hello, I'm Luke." Luke said and smiled. "This is Kyle and-" "I'm Ashley." My sister interrupted me. "Uh, yeah, Ashley." I said. "Well now that everybody is here, shall we tell everybody the new?" Luke said and smiled. Ashley and Kyle looked confused. "Yeah we should" I said and smiled.

Luke and stood on some chairs in the living room. "Everybody! Can we get your attention!" Luke shouted and clapped his hands. Everybody was quiet and looked at us. "Okay, w-we got some news to tell y-you guys" I said as loud as I could. "Well, everybody, in April or May we will be bringing home baby Cutforth, Olivia's pregnant!" He said happily. Everybody cheered and Luke got off the chair and helped me down. We were giving so many hugs and congratulations. I'm so glad everybody took it so well. Once I got to my my step-brother, he seemed a little awkward about the situation. "So, I'm gonna be an uncle?" He said. "Uh yeah." I said with a smile. "Do you think it's gonna be a girl or boy?" He asked. "I'm fine with which ever but I kind of want a boy, Luke's wants a girl." I said. "Ah nice, I hope you have a boy, then I'll be able to relate to him in some way." He said and laughed. I gave him an awkward smile. "Well I should go find Ashely and see how she feels about this all." I said and walked away.

I saw Ashely sitting on the couch with Karim. "Hey Ashely." I said. "Oh my god, I can't believe you're having a baby!" Ashley said and hugged me. "How did you manage to get married and now having a baby all before me!" She said with a little attitude in her voice. "Haha. I know." I said awkwardly. "Like, I don't know how you managed to score a hottie like Luke, like you just aren't as pretty as me." She said and walked away. She just doesn't know when to stop. Karim looked shocked. I quickly went to my room and cried.

After a few minutes I stopped and cleaned myself up and went back downstairs. I must look that bad if I managed to, "score a hottie like Luke". As I went to go find him a few more people said congratulations to me. I went into the kitchen and saw Luke talking to Patty. "Hey Luke." I said and smiled. Luke turned around and I saw Patty's face. He had a few tears streaming down his face. "Oh my, Patty, what's wrong?" I quickly went over to him and hugged him. "Dottie broke up with me" Patty said sadly. "Oh I'm so sorry Patty." I said to him. "It's okay." He said. "Did she say why?" I asked and stood beside Luke. "She just said she thought we should see different people, so I'm assuming there was a different person." He said quietly. "I'm so sorry Patty, you deserve a lot better than that." I said and gave him one more hug.

"I'm sorry to uh, take the attention off you. But w-we wanted to ask you something." I said and looked at Luke than back at Patty. "No it's okay, ask away." He said. "Well, we wanted to know if you wanted to be the baby's god father?" I asked and smiled. "I would love to guys!" Patty said with a big smile. "Yay!" I said and hugged him. "I'm so relieved, now I know tht if anything happens to us, our baby will have a great person taking care of him or her." Luke said and gave Patty a hug.  "No problem man, I'm honoured you guys choose me." Patty said and smiled.

After everybody left we cleaned up a bit and then sat in the couch. "So that was a good day." I said. "Yes, yes it was." Luke said and laughed a little. "I love you" I said. "I love you too" Luke said back and then kissed me. "I'm glad you I have you in my life." Luke said to me. I kissed him and replied, "And I'm glad I have you."
