A/N: Okay, so I have come to a decision. I will be developing this story into a series of 5 books, sort of like the PJO series.
But before I start, I would like to dedicate this chapter to all my readers, but most of all to @nightshade128 for being my most supportive reader and for voting on every one of my chapters, and commenting a lot, too! You have no idea how much this means to me, to know that you really enjoy this story. So this chapter is dedicated to you, and I have added a special POV just for you! (Also, I might include this POV more often)

Percy's POV
We spent the rest of lunch eating, talking, and laughing. I quickly became friends with Jason. He was really nice but had an air of authority, as if he was used to being the 'leader' of their group. Leo and the Stoll brothers became my partners-in-crime. Or would it be partners-in-pranking? Gah, stupid ADHD! And yes, I said ADHD. You see, I had ADHD and dyslexia. I was born with it. Not many people knew, though; it's not really a fact I liked advertising. There were a lot of things people didn't know about me...

Anyhow, what was I talking about? Or thinking about... back on track! Right, so, the new guests. I have talked to Hazel and Piper, and I think Hazel is very sweet and kind. Piper is also nice and generous, she's also a very down-to-earth sort of person. I mean, from one look at her, it's obvious that she is very pretty, but she tries to downplay it. I guess she doesn't like the attention, and I admire her for that.

The one person I didn't become friendly with quickly is Annabeth. Don't get me wrong, it's not like we're enemies or hate each other or anything, she just doesn't seem to like me very much. I don't know why, though. But I really want to be friends.

After lunch, Annabeth and the others headed to their rooms. Probably to rest up or something, I don't know. Tyson, Zoë, and I went to our rooms as well.

When I got to my room, I realized that I should probably finish my homework. Hey, just because I'm a prince doesn't mean I don't go to school! And I do get homework, too. Unfortunately, the teachers don't cut me any slack even though I'm a prince. Probably because my parents told them not to.

Anyways, I spent an hour trying to decipher my math homework before ultimately giving up and flopping down on my bed. Then I got an amazing idea... I should prank my new friends! Or I hoped they were my friends... anyway. Where was I? Right, I was thinking of pranks to play! I started brainstorming.

Okay, before you go all what-are-you-doing-Percy-they-are-your-guests-you-should-treat-them-nicely-and-not-prank-them on me, I should probably mention that I am a very impulsive person. It goes with being ADHD. So you can't blame me! Blame the ADHD!

Anyway, I soon thought up several ideas for pranks, but none of them seemed right. Then it hit me: the perfect prank. I grinned. This would be fun.

***

This was definitely not fun! You'll see why in a second...

"Perseus Jackson, I will kill you!"

There it is. I should probably explain what was going on at this point. You see, my first pranking target was Annabeth. Now I know what you're thinking, she already didn't like me, so why should I give her more reasons to not like me by pranking her? However, in my defense, who doesn't like pranks? I thought that maybe after a few friendly pranks, we would become friends. But apparently, Annabeth doesn't consider pranks 'friendly'.

It started like this. My prank idea—which was amazing, if I do say so myself—was that I would suspend a bucket of water above her door so that when she opened it, the water would fall all over her. It wasn't a huge prank, just a small one really, but Annabeth was outraged. And the worst part was, she knew it was me.

I had finished setting up my prank and hid around the corner. I peeked out and waited. I didn't have to wait long. Annabeth opened the door and was about to step out when the water fell on her. She stood there for a moment in shock, gasping and spluttering, dripping water on the floor.

Then, slowly, she lifted her head up, with a murderous expression on her face. She was wearing the most frightening death glare I had ever seen. Normally, I would have run away before she could see that it was me who pranked her, but her glare was so scary, I was literally rooted to the spot. She started stalking in my direction, probably looking for whoever had pranked her, and I was still frozen from her glare.

"You!" She screeched when she saw me. Uh-oh. I panicked.

I turned and ran, down the endless hallways and staircases, and burst into the dining room. Hey, it was dinner time, and I was hungry. It's not my fault my feet decided to subconsciously lead me here.

Behind me, I heard her yell again, "Perseus Jackson, I will kill you!"

And that's how I got here.

She burst in behind me, her face red with rage, a murderous glare plastered on her face.

"I'm sorry!" I pleaded, as she stalked towards me.

She kept coming.

"Please!"

She didn't stop.

"It was just a harmless prank?" I tried.

Big mistake.

"JUST A HARMLESS PRANK?" She yelled at me. "WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DRIPPING WET FOR AN HOUR JUST BECAUSE SOME IDIOT DECIDED TO TRY A 'HARMLESS PRANK' ON YOU?"

I cowered down before her. To most of you, that would seem cowardly and weak, but I dare you to be on the receiving end of her killer glare and not cower. It's impossible, I'm telling you.

Annabeth probably would have continued, but she looked up and her eyes widened. She straightened her dress and took her seat at the table without another word.

It was then that I noticed the dining room was populated.

Whoops.

A/N: That's all for this chapter, I hope it was good! Also, I'm really, really sorry that I haven't updated in so long. I literally have no excuse; I was lazy and I procrastinated. Again, I'm so so so sorry! I'm working on the next chapter right now! I hope to get it out as soon as possible!
