It All Started One Stormy Day

Y/N Uris was walking to the Denbroughs house to check on her best-friend Bill. No, Bill did not like her. They were like siblings.

Y/N knocked on the door twice and Georgie opened up.

"Hey Georgie!" Y/N said as Georgie hugged her.

"Hey Y/N, here to check on Bill?" Y/N was now in the house, watching Georgie getting his Galoshes.

"It's like you are a genius, George!"

"Like?" Georgie fake pouted, but was interrupted by his big brother clearing his throat.

"H-hey Y/N! And yeah, Georgie. Luh-like your a g-genius." Bill stuttered while he talked. While he was embarrassed by it, the younger girl... admired it. Like he was unique!

"Anyways, I was gonna go play in the rain with my paper boat!" Georgie exclaimed, jumping into Y/N's lap.

"How fun, my little pumpkin. But I have to stay with Bill so he doesn't die, so I can't come with." Clearly Georgie was not having it today.

"God, you're not dying, Bill! How many times today? I had to tell you upstairs, now you're convincing poor little Y/N tha-"

"Hey, it's okay, Little G!" Y/N laughed silently at Georgies little "pep talk"., if you could really call ⬆️ one.

And with that Y/N dozed off into space, dreaming about who knows what. All she could understand is that Bill is now leading her to his bedroom and Georgie is now outside.

"Y/N!" She was snapped out of it now. The younger girl just rolled her eyes and asked,

"What Bill?, sorry I was day dreaming..." Y/N apologized.

"Thats o-o-okay, I was just saying that Georgie i-is fine. He is p-playing in the rain with his bo-at." Bill seemed to like having Georgie outta the house, not permanently, of coarse. Just enough to have a break.

"Are you actually sick?" Y/N had to ask, but Bill just laughed softly and said,

"Of coarse I am, n-not bad at all... but s-sick."

"Okay, Big Bill."

"What's with the n-new nickna-me?" Bill asked, even tho he has had it from the third grade.

"Nuh- uh!" She laughed softly. "You've has that since forever!"

Bill just laughed at Y/N, but that was soon interrupted by his moms... sobs... very LOUD crying. So the two curious teens, (don't come at me for this, I don't know their age 8 months before summer break) slowly but surely, went down stairs.

What Bill saw broke his heart, his mom and dad were sobbing on the couch, with an arm piece of a rain coat. Looks like it would fit Georgie.

WAIT- Y/N was now crying on the couch next to Bills mom.

Bills POV

It's like everything was in slow motion, I was crying... Y/N was crying... my mom was crying... even dad...

Georgies gone now, well.. I still have hope. But now, I know for sure, he's missing.

Y/N... passed out. Poor her.. poor me.. poor Georgie..
