Walking into school all I could hear was whispers as I walked down the red and white hallway. I spotted Dove, JC, Treasure, and Blair. I walked over to the bench that they were sitting on.
"What's everyone whispering about?" I asked.
"Everyone in the school now knows that you're pregnant." Dove answered.
"Speaking of me being pregnant. Who did you guys tell?" I whispered.
"Well I told Kayla, Becca, and Hannah." Dove answered.
"Um, I didn't tell anyone." Treasure smiled.
"I only told Farrah." Blair smiled and touched my baby bump.
"Let me think... I told Lacey, Lauren, Naveah, and um, Asher."
"Well that's only eight people. Which definitely doesn't add up to the whole high school..." I said with anger lacing in my voice.
"I don't know how it could have gotten out." Treasure answered.
"Well I'm going to get to the bottom of this. One way or another." I said as I walked to my locker.
Everyone was looking at me. Which made me self conscious. I knew each and every one of them were judging me.
The first four hours of school went by slow. When I walked into the lunch room everyone turned and looked at me. They act like I killed their mom. But, I don't let them get to me, I just walk to my lunch table.
"Hey!" I say as I sit my lunch box down and take a seat next to Dove. "Where's Treasure?"
"About that.." Dove started. "We have to tell you something about her. I don't want to talk behind her back but it's for the best."
"Treasure is the one who told the school about you being pregnant." JC stated.
"So she lied to me?" I asked standing up.
"Yeah." Blair answered. "What are you going to do?"
"She's going to sit down." Dove grabbed my arm pulling me back down.
"No I'm not. Where is she?" I asked and stood back up.
"You can't do anything to her. 1. You're pregnant. 2. Then she'd know that we told you. 3. You guys are best friends." Blair said.
"Were best friends. If you don't tell me where she went then I'll find her myself." I shot back.
"She's in the music room working on her solo." JC answered.
I got up and walked down the hallway and took a left, walking right into the music room and interrupting Treasure's solo.
The pianist stopped playing. "What's up?" Treasure asked.
"What's up with you?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" She asked, sounding confused.
"I thought you were my friend!"
"I am."
"You're a liar. You're not my friend anymore. Ugh! You're such a brat, Treasure! You told the whole school that I'm pregnant."
