Beep. Beep. Beep.

His Cookie Cat alarm clock chimed, it was 5 am. His eyes slowly opened, they were normal. Human always had to get up early to have at least a little time to control and get things done. Steven quickly turned the alarm clock off, he didn't want to accidentally wake Gem up as well. He yawned and stretched his arms. Luckily, Gem hadn't woken up from a nightmare yet, he was sleeping rather peacefully in the Mindscape. He got out of bed and walked downstairs. He had a bowl of cereal for breakfast. He looked at the clock on the wall. It was 6 am now. Human looked behind him in the Mindscape, Gem was trembling in his sleep, he looked so scared. He wanted to help him, but was far too afraid to even approach him. Steven quickly took a shower and got dressed. Gem's nightmare got worse and worse until he eventually woke up. Human kept controlling, he glanced behind him as Gem yawned. He quickly looked back as soon as he saw how pissed off he was. Gem stood up and walked up to the controls swiftly. Human trembled as Gem walked up to the controls. "H-" Human tried to speak but as soon as he even opened his mouth, Gem grumbled and knocked Human unconscious. Gem took control, Steven's eyes glowed a pink hue, with a white, diamond shaped pupil inside.

Steven was chilling on the couch looking at his phone, he was bored. Suddenly, the temple door opened, revealing Amethyst. "Sup, Steven?" She asked. Steven ignored her and just kept looking at his phone. Amethyst walked over to him. Steven didn't even seem to know she was there. So, Amethyst got the greatest idea and tried to scare him. She got really close up and said, "Boo" in a playful tone. Steven started to glow pink slightly, he finally looked up at Amethyst, he looked pissed. "What the hell do you want?" he said with gritted teeth. Amethyst backed up, "Whoa, sorry dude. You were ignoring me-" Steven cut her off, "Well MAYBE I was ignoring you because I don't feel like talking" he said in a rough tone as he snarled at her. Amethyst was about to say something but the temple door opened yet again, Garnet walked out. "Oh, great..." Steven said sarcastically. Garnet walked over to Amethyst and signaled to follow her. They both left without a saying a single word. Steven was still glowing a pink hue, he wasn't calm anymore. Human was still passed out in the Mindscape.

He got up and walked to the fridge. He took a chocolate bar out and walked back to the couch. He sat down and ate the entire thing in 2 bites, he calmed down a little bit. But since the body he was controlling was human, he needed more than a chocolate bar for "breakfast". He got up and put his phone in his gem, walked out the front door and into Beach City. He walked to the Big Donut, hoping to get a Cookie Cat or two. He took his wallet out of his gem on his way there. The Big Donuts doors opened, Steven walked in. "Hey Steven." Sadie greeted him quite friendly. He ignored her, his attention went to the Cookie Cat freezer, it was completely empty. There was a small note next to it saying they aren't going to be manufactured anymore. Steven glowed pink, once again. "Steven? Are you okay?" Sadie said, concerned. He looked upset. "Whats the matter Steven? Gonna cry over your favorite ice cream?" Lars said, taunting him. Steven's expression changed immediately as he adverted his gaze to look at Lars. Steven growled deeply at Lars. Lars immediately regretted his decisions. "H-hey, chill out man, I was just joking! Heh... Y-you get it r-right?" Lars said, panicking. Steven continued giving him the death stare, his glowing pink eyes pierced Lars' soul.

Lars looked terrified, Sadie was afraid of what Steven might do next. He finally spoke, "You'll be the one crying when I get my hands on you." He said, with an evil grin. Lars scrambled into the backroom, locking the door on his way in. Steven started to laugh hysterically, he mockingly said, "Chill! It was just a joke!" In fact, he laughed so hard he started tearing up. Sadie sighed in relief. Lars was still in the backroom. After his laughing fit, Steven turned back to the empty Cookie Cat freezer, he walked up to it. Steven reached for the plug, as Human slowly opened his eyes and groaned in the Mindscape. Human struggled to stand, he walked over to Gem to see whats going on. Steven unplugged the empty freezer. "Uh Steven?" Sadie asked, confused. "Yes?" He said in a passive aggressive tone. "What are you doing?" Sadie asked. "Taking this, I want it." Steven said as he picked it up. "Uh... okay then..." Sadie said, not wanting to argue with Steven. Steven walked out of the Big Donut and started walking home.

Human sat down next to gem quietly, he was confused on why Gem was taking the Cookie Cat freezer, "St-Steven? W-why are you taking the Cookie Cat freezer?" he asked timidly, looking up at Gem. Gem sighed "They're not making them anymore." Gem said in a calm tone. Human gasped, "W-What?! Why in the world would they stop making Cookie Cats?!" Human exclaimed. Gem grumbled, "How the hell would I know? It's not my problem." Human started tearing up, he was upset. Cookie Cats were his favorite ice cream sandwiches. Steven tied the long plug of the freezer around him in a way where he could carry the freezer on his back. Human sniffled, Gem looked down at his human half, he looked disgusted. "Get over it, it's just some stupid ice cream." Gem said in an annoyed tone. "B-but it was my favorite kind!" Human continued to whine. Gem growled, he was angry again. He wanted to punt his human half to the moon, but couldn't since the Mindscape doesn't allow that.

Steven arrived at the Beach House, he opened the door and immediately got attacked by a huge, green, centipede type creature. He punched it as hard as he could, it flung all the way back to the temple door. It poofed on impact. He calmly shut the door after walking in. Pearl, Amethyst, and Garnet were busy fighting the horde of centipedes inside the house. He set the Cookie Cat freezer on the couch. "'Sup, Steven?" Amethyst said, nonchalantly as she poofed one of the centipedes. "What are these? Centipedes?" Steven asked, confused. Pearl grabbed one of the creatures, "Ugh. Sorry Steven, we'll get these Centipeetles out of your room. We think they were trying to get into the temple." Human finally calmed down, he sighed. He made a beanbag chair in the Mindscape and just watched Gem control. Amethyst poofed another one, "Um, you guys? These things don't have gems." She said. "That means there must be a mother somewhere nearby." Garnet added. "We should probably find it before anyone gets hurt." Pearl said. Steven noticed one of the Centipeetles raiding the fridge and freezer, he ran over and stomped on it, it poofed. "That thing better not have got into my chocolate." He snarled. He opened the fridge, his chocolate was still there. He then checked the freezer, Steven's pupils dilated as he gasped. Human gasped and ran to the controls while Gem was distracted for a moment. To Human's surprise, another set of controls appeared. "H-huh...?" Human said, quite confused. Gem finally noticed his other half, he looked down. When he saw Human near the controls, his usual knee-jerk reaction was to kick him off them instantly, but something caught his eyes, the second pair of controls. Now, he was equally as confused as his Human half. "What the...?"
