Remington Leith 3 part 5

This is the last part of this mini-series and its based off of the song burn

I saved everything you gave me. From the moment it started I knew you were mine. You said you were mine. I thought you were mine.

"Do you know what my family said when I told them about you" I ask Remington.

"No, what did they say" He asked.

"They told me to be careful be you would do whatever it takes to survive"

He didn't know how to respond so we both sat, thinking of what to say next.

You and your words flooded my senses. Your sentences left me defenseless. You built me palaces out of paragraphs. You built cathedrals.

 I re-read the messages you wrote me. I'm searching and scanning for answers in every line, for some kind of sign, of when you were mine. My world seemed to be burning.

"You told the whole world how you brought this girl into our bed. You have ruined our lives" I say stressing the word 'you' each time.

"I know but-" He started.

"You know what my sister said when she read what you'd done" I ask cutting him off.

"No what did she say" He questioned.

"Congratulations  you've gotten involved with an Icarus and he has flown to close to the sun" I answer.

" I thought your family liked me" He says. 

"Never did. I was just willing to over look it," I state, " No one will know how I reacted to finding this out"

Remington looked broken. Good . He deserved this. Its his fault hes losing me.

I get up to leave pausing right before I shut the door saying" I hope that you burn Remington Leith"
