Now Where's Safe? (MAJOR EDITING HAPPENING)

Chapter 41

Kenny's POV
I managed to get out the gates unharmed , I did have a few close calls but I made it out.
I opened the door to the shop.
"Clem? Ben?" I yelled/whispered.
No answer.
"There fine , maybe they are just not out yet" I said to my self.
I looked around a little and found some water.
I sat down and drank it.
I was worried , I have only just got Clem back , I don't want to lose her again.
I had my head in my hands when the door swung open. I head snapped up.
Ben came in blood splattered up him.
He came up to me.
"Where's Clem?" I said.
"I don't know I thought she was with you " he said.
"Shit"
"Don't worry she is probably fine she just might not of got out yet"
"I'm going back for her"
"Kenny stop we made a deal to meet here you never know she could be out and on her way and if you went back in you could die and you would never see her again and she would get back here then she would go back for you!"
"Then what do you think we should do!?"
"Wait here till morning and go back tomorrow most of the walkers should of hopefully moved on but either way we will go back tomorrow to find her if she does not come back."
"Fine" I said walking about trying to find anything to start a fire with.

*1 hour later*

Me and Ben where sitting down around a fire. Ben was trying to wipe off the blood.
"How did you make it out?" I asked.
"After we all split up I just ran but then I thought I saw Clem and ran towards her but walkers got in the way and cornered me then a woman
ran towards me and was shaking me , screaming for help , then a walker bit into her And it must of bit into a vein or something because blood squirted everywhere and all over me so I ran and had one close call with a runner but other then that I got out fine what about you?"
"Well I stood there and I didn't know what to do at first the last time I had seen this many was years ago when we where basically kidnapped by a man named carver and we escaped from there by setting off the outside audio system to get walkers to come but anyway I didn't know what to do and I stood there. I turned around looking for Clem but I couldn't see her. I ran about for a minute looking for her. I had a few close calls with some walkers and runners but as I got to the gates I heard a baby crying and it sounded like Alvie and I was about to go back but walkers got in the way and I just ran and got here"
"So we both missed her or missed finding them anyway"
"Yeh" I said looked down.
