It's the holidays! This means no school for two weeks! and the fun thing is that today, my family and I will be going over to one of my cousin Louie's house. Unfortunately, it's after Christmas Day now and my own family opened our presents on New Years Eve, which is today, because we wanted to wait for my sister Sandie, her husband Sebastien and their daughter Ophelie to come back from Quebec since they were spending Christmas with Sebastien's family this year. Annually, they rotate, so this means sometimes we would have them in Windsor celebrating together. And because my family have already just finished opening our presents, we decided to relax for a few hours. It's about 12 pm now, so there's still time before all of us get ready to go over to Louie's house. My brother, sister in-law and their daughters went back to their house and my mom went with them; Sandie, Sebastien, my other sister Tina all went upstairs and I remained in the living room.
Before heading up to the guest room, Sandie appeared at the living room doorway.
"Anthony, I'm going to put Ophelie down for a nap. She just went upstairs with Seb right now, and I'm also going to stay upstairs also 'cuz I'm a little tired." Sandie explained.
I nodded. "Okay, sure. And do you remember what time we have to get ready for the New Year party tonight?"
"I think 4 or 5? We will all be ready by then." Sandie said. "We'll get changed at around 3."
"Okay, cool! I'll wait for you guys to wake up, then I'll also get ready." I told her.
Sandie nodded then turned around and left the door as I heard her footsteps receding, then it stopped when she got upstairs. Now it is just me here in the living room so I just stay downstairs by myself and relax on the couch.

With nothing to do after laying down for a few minutes, I decided to check if anything is on TV.
When I turned it on, an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants "Squidville" is playing. And it looks like the episode has already begun showing because this is where Squidward starts his first day in Tentacle Acres by riding his bike. Next, he goes grocery shopping, then joins in on a dance academy and last thing he does at the end of the day is joining a trio of clarinet players performing in the park. However, as days go by, the daily routine repeats and repeats and Squidward becomes spiritless and lacks enthusiasm.
"Aww, poor Squidward," I muttered under my breath as I continued watching the episode.
As the episode goes on, I studied and looked at the other Tentacle Acres residents. It's amazing how everyone's shape and sizes are the same as Squidward - a skinny body, large cranium, a droopy nose and they wear different outfits, while some even have hair on their head. My mind then wandered and then went back to when the other octopus characters debuted on the show: Squilliam who first appeared in Band Geeks and Squilvia who appeared in Love That Squid, are not in this episode. Squilliam has made a few appearances in the show and Squilvia has never appeared again ever since her only appearance and it hasn't been confirmed on what happened to her. I really wished she showed up for another episode because it'd be nice to see Squilvia for the second time so viewers learn what she's been up to. It would also be really cool to meet her, Squidward and all these cephalopods in this episode. I wonder how that would turn out or be like? I wondered, getting deeper into thought.
Just then, the TV suddenly went off while I was watching it and a puff of smoke abruptly emitted from the screen. When it started to clear, little ghostly looking turquoise creatures in clothing came into the picture. They were flying out of the TV, moving around the living room, forming a spiral or a circle in mid-air. And not only that is happening, but two wall lamps in my living room also automatically turned on as these creatures slowly begin filling up the air. I watched in amazement.
"Holy cow, this is definitely out of the blue!" I exclaimed. I tried to avoid waking up my two sisters, my brother in-law and niece upstairs.
Examining closely, I started to recognize them. It's the octopuses from SpongeBob SquarePants! Right now, they're  really small while floating in the air. As they begin landing on the living room floor, their size started to expand and grow to like a adult human size and they went from being transparent to opaque. As some octopuses touched the bottom, more ghostly looking octopuses came out of my TV. Right away, I see two octopuses wearing a blue uniform - a Security guard and a Gatekeeper from Tentacle Acres - both standing by the bow window talking to each other, Squidward's parents - even his dad is present - and they're both talking to Squidmund, who is Squidward's cousin and so far has not made any actual appearance in the show but appears in a comic book Squidmund Visits. I haven't actually read this yet, but I know of him by reading about him online.
Looking around, I recognized almost all of the unnamed octopuses from the episode "Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom, including Kelpy G himself, a famous clarinet player. Some of these octopuses skin colours are more green, some have more blueish skin. Then something else got my attention as I looked up just when two male octopuses landed on either side of me. These two are one of the residents that live in Tentacle Acres. They wear no pants, only a identical turtleneck sweater. One has a purple turtleneck with a two thick stripes in the torso - a lime green on top and a blue on the bottom. The other octopus also has the lime green and blue, with the exception that his turtleneck sweater is....I'm gonna guess a salmon colour? The two octopuses looked down at me and gave a friendly greeting. I sat up from the couch and shook both of their hands. I then looked around. Room is full, no more octopuses coming out of the TV. Everyone has landed and are now socializing with each other. It's almost like some sort of party happening in my living room!
