Aang and Lynn landed in perfect unison inside the room. Aang sprang up with a smile. "Wow I can't believe that actually worked!"

Lynn nodded slowly as she raised her hand to her throat. Her fingers gently grazed the thin red line on her neck left by the knife. "Yeah. I guess we're lucky."

Her brother was yet to notice the trickle of blood . Quickly, she untied her braid and ran her fingers through her hair, and spread it to cover the scratch. Lynn summoned forth what very few water molecules were in the air to the wound as she did so.

Red light slowly encased the statues and a thick fog surrounded the two teens. Some of the fog quickly took form of two figures. "It's good to see you, Aang and Lynn."

The red haired deity raised an eyebrow with a slight smile. "What took you two so long?"

They bowed respectfully to their past reincarnations. Lynn spoke up first. "Sorry about the wait, the traffic was horrendous."

The smile on Deity Orzala's face fell. "Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of time for jokes. We have something important to tell you two, and it will greatly impact the 100 year war."

Instinctively, Aang and Lynn stiffened. "Is it about the vision of the comet?"

Roku nodded at Aang's question. "Yes. 100 years ago, Fire lord Sozen used the comet to start the war. Him and his fire bending army used the comet to deal a deadly strike against the other nations."

A look of realization passed over Lynn's face. "The comet made them stronger, like how the moon makes water bending stronger."

Deity Orzala nodded. "Exactly. Listen carefully, you two. The comet will return at the end of this summer. Fire lord Ozai will finish what his grandfather began. You can't let that happen."

Roku picked up where his sibling picked off. "If he succeeds, even the Avatar and the Deity couldn't restore balance to the world. You two must defeat the fire lord BEFORE the comet arrives."

Aang let out a sound of protest. "But I haven't even begun to learn water bending."

Lynn placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's time I started teaching you, then."

That didn't seem to calm the 12 year old's nerves. "What about earth and fire?"

That seemed to silence the water bender for a moment. "We can move in with badger moles and kidnap a fire bender on the way out. You know, give Zuko a taste of his own medicine," she tried to joke.

"What if we can't master all the elements in time? What if we fail?"

Roku and Orzala exchanges a look. "We know you can do it..."

Deity Orzala took over without skipping a beat. "For you two have done it before."

Lynn spoke up. "How will we contact you again if we need help?"

Her past life answered. "We are a part of you. When you need to talk, I entrust you'll find a way."

All four closed their eyes. "A great danger awaits you at the temple."

"We can help you face the threat, but only if you're ready."

In perfect unison, both Aang and Lynn opened their now glowing eyes and spoke. "We're ready."
