chapter seven

y/n got ready for school eagerly, today was the day she finally got to show off her quirk to her classmates. she woke up a little later than usual so she couldn't help yoamomo with breakfast today, still she thanked the girl and happily ate with her friends. eventually the class begins and the class goes to their training area.

she slips on her hero costume and checks herself out in in the locker room mirror, proud of her design for it.

an invisible girl snuck up behind her gasping as she clenched her fists, shown by her gloves. "i love your hero costume y/n!" she complimented the girl loudly.

"thank you hagakure!" y/n giggled as she turned around to walk out to the training area, she spots hanta and kaminari and walks over to him tapping his shoulder. "sooo what do you think?" she spins a little as she shows hanta while smiling.

"i think it suits you," hanta smiles flicking her forehead lightly, "plus we both designed our hero costumes together i already knew what it looked like dummie."

"hmm," y/n huffs as she turns to kaminari raising her arms to the side, "what do YOU think kaminari?"

kaminari's caught off guard at the sudden question but quickly responds with his typical flirty nature, "i think you look really cute y/n!" he answers with his iconic grin.

this surprise as she puts her arms down and blushes slightly, "oh uh uhHhhH," she starts laughing trying to hide how off guard is by the compliment. "um, anywayssss, let's go over to kirishima and kacchan 'kay?" she points at the pair before running over to them.

"that was weird?" kaminari looks at hanta while walking.

"well she usually does that when she gets flustered. so congrats on making her flustered," hanta laughs before catching up with the girl.

"hey kacchan!" the girl runs up to the blonde before jumping onto his back and wrapping his arms around his head giggling.

"what the hell idiot?!" bakugo barely regains his balance before looking at the (e/c) eyed girl on his back. "and who gave you the right to call me that? cause it sure as hell wasn't me!"

"mm well i heard midoriya call you that so i took it upon myself to call you that too!" y/n laughed before looking down at his arms and gasping, "those are really cool kacchan!" she points at the grenades attached to his arms. bakugo sucks his teeth before dropping the girl and turning away from her, she falls to the ground yelping as her back hits the hard ground.

kirishima helps her up, "you okay?" he laughs a little before grabbing her hand and helping her up. she nods before glaring at bakugo and huffing at him. aizawa announces that today will be quirk training to help us better ourselves for our license exam.

"aww i can't fight kacchan today," y/n sulks as she looks at the blondie. "well maybe next time!" the class is told that they have to develop their own super move in ten days, just before their exams. just then cementoss walks in followed by ectoplasm and midnight.

cementoss starts to creates terrain for each student to fight in while ectoplasm offers clones of himself for the students to fight. the class spreads out to fight the clones. y/n's hero suit is made especially to not tear when she transforms, a puff of smoke appears around her back and legs.

then a giant pair of butterfly wings and kangaroo legs appear on her body. she jumps up a little to warm up before jumping over to try and attack the clones of her teacher. as ectoplasm's clones try to attack her she flaps her wings into the air to get away from it and lands onto one of cementoss' mini mountains.

y/n jumps down from behind one of the clones knocking it down before tackling the one a few feet from her. she pants a little as she gets up and puts her hands on her hips. ectoplasm walks over to her, "you're pretty strong y/n. have you thought of any super moves that could be useful?"

she turned her legs back to normal, leaving only her big monarch wings left on her back. "hmm, i don't think so. i want to incorporate my wings, the kangaroo legs , since those two are my strongest points, and maybe something else? i can't seem to decide."

"well maybe you should try to incorporate another animal, what's your next strongest transformation?" ectoplasm asked his student.

"oh! i can make my mouth produce poison from my mouth, kinda like a snake. i learned it from the snake called the spitting cobra, they can shoot venom from about three feet away and usually aim for their opponents eyes, would that be a good move?" y/n asked her teacher.

"that would be perfect, y/n. you can try to practice shooting venom father than those three feet to better aid you." ectoplasm offers her advice before walking away to help another one of her classmates. eventually the day finished and the class began to walk back to their dorms.

"i'm so tired y/n!" hanta said as he leaned his whole body against the girl. in response she pushed him and huffed.

"hanta you're heavy!" she complained, still hanta kept his arm around her shoulder.

"oh by the way, kaminari and i are going to get new additions to our costumes tomorrow. wanna come?" he asked.

y/n looks up ahead to the blonde and redhead walking ahead of them, "sure, i don't know what i would add to my costume but i can listen to what the support course students might have to offer."
