HEROPHINE IS VERY BIPOLAR IN THIS CHAPTER!

As soon as we got inside the house Jo gathered everyone in the living room to tell them about foster care.

I had to do something. I wasn't going to let her talk anyone into the idea. And the best way was to not let her talk at all.

How was I going to do that? By turning the attention to me.

I knew that if I told them something important, Jo wouldn't try to steal the spotlight. She just was like that. However, I certaintly didn't want to talk about me.

Ah, what am I doing for love!

So when we all sat on the couches I opened my mouth before her.

"I wanted to talk to you all about college" I said before she could say anything. Jo looked at me weirdly but I ignored her.

"Have you finally decided what you want to study?" My mom asked me with a smile.

"It's bussiness, right?" My dad asked with a smile.

I shook my head. "As much as I love the job, dad, I want to do something else in life. I have another passion"

They all looked at me with questioning looks.

I took a deep breath. "Music" I finally said.

"What?" my dad yelled probably because I caught him by surprise.

"I've thought about it very well, dad. I love playing my guitar. And if you got me a piano when I asked you to I'd be a master at piano as well. Now I just have to use our school's piano. But still. I love music. It calms me and I want to deliver that feeling to other"

"Bro, you can't even sing" Mercy snorted.

"He doesn't have to" Jo said for me. "He is amazing at what he does" she bit her lip looking at me and I gave her a warm smile.

"And who is going to take over the company? Titan doesn't want to. I thought I could count on you and now you don't want to either!" he yelled.

Mercy slowly raised her hand. "I'm still here teehee. And I'm one of your kids"

"You want to take over the company?"

"Sure! Don't you think I can't? Why? Because I'm a woman?"

"That's not what I'm saying-"

"That's a great idea, George" mom agreed.

My dad sighed, nodded and then turned to me.

"It will be hard for you to find a stable job" he said said calmer that I though he would be.

"I've thought about it and I'll do my best. I want to try it and if it doesn't work out I'll find something else. But right now this is what I want to do"

My mom smiled at me. "I think that's a great idea"

"As long as you are happy"

I smiled at him. "Thank you, dad"

I looked at Jo. She was giving me the biggest grin. I could tell she was already happy for me. And her being happy made me happy.

"You know what else would make me happy, dad?" I boldly said.

"What?" he asked.

"You letting me be freely with Jo"

As soon as I said that, everybody gasped.
