By the time her father, Prompto and Gladio pushed the ever so lustrous Regalia to Hammerhead the princess's feet sparked with pain. She slightly wished she could of changed outfits before they left Insomnia. The color black does not go well with heat.
The tactician was the only one standing up - with him being the only one who wasn't on his feet for a long period of time. The others had began to quarrel amongst themselves, trying to maintain a list of who's turn was next among other things. Arabella just walked back and forth in front of the car, she didn't understand the reason for their arguments; her lips changed from a smile to a thin line by then.
"You quarreled over something so trivial..." She had muttered, gaining her father's attention. The unwelcoming glare that shot out of his blue eyes connected to the side of her face, she wasn't upset that he had glared at her - he didn't even know her.
He crossed his arms. "We had to set the whole thing straight, plus I don't think I asked for your opinion." He snapped, watching as Arabella's blue eyes sharply looked in his direction.
The princess wasn't expecting this sort of attitude from her father, though once again it was father like daughter, and she crossed her arms as well. "You didn't need to ask, I have the right to speak as well."
It was easy to tell that the ravenette was going to snap once again, however the royal tactician stepped up before anymore arguing ensued. "Arabella was it?" He piped up, gaining the princess's attention. "We only heard of your first name from the King, that poses the question, what is your full name?"
"Arabella Izunia." She blurted out, mentally slapping herself in the face. From talks between her and her mother, the one who tried to erase the light from their star used 'Izunia' as well. Ignis nodded at her answer, and it was too late to change it.
She could feel Bahamut glaring at her from wherever he resided, however she panicked - mentally and physically. 'Izunia' was the first thing to pop into her head. This was going to create problems in the future.
"Which one of y'all is the prince? Is the princess with you?" A voice cut through the silence. The princess watched as her father stood, confusion clearly laced within his blue orbs.
"Ah! There he is, but where's the princess? Is she not with y'all?"
Gladio moved, tapping Arabella's foot with his own. "The only girl who could fit that description is this one." He spoke, smirking as she sent a glare his way. She would get him back for this, she promised herself.
With a sigh she stood up, hearing Bahamut quietly laugh at her and ignoring the confused stares of the others. The person who asked for her whereabouts had smiled, moving around the broken down Regalia to take in her appearance.
The woman looked the two of them over, placing her hands on her hips as she smile grew slightly wider. "Well, well, well! Y'all look similar to each other!" She commented.
The Prince and Princess sharply looked in each other's direction. The only thing Arabella could point out that was similar between the two of them would be their eyes, nothing else. Noctis concluded that their attitude was the answer, however they tore their gaze away and said nothing to each other.
"The eyes are similar." She responded, placing a hand on her hip.
"Our attitudes are similar." Noctis responded, crossing his arms.
Prompto looked over at Gladio and Ignis, a worried expression painting his face as he mouthed the words 'They're so similar to each other that it's almost scary.'
The royal tactician and Shield shared a look.
"I feel like we have two Noctis' on our hands," Gladio whispered, looking like he was going to pass out. Taking care of one Noctis is tiring enough, but two? Now that's something else. The three began to whisper among themselves, obviously concerned about how this would turn out.
Noctis and Arabella sighed, shaking their head as their talk with the woman ended. The two of them turned, their faces equally blank - but filled with annoyance. "Since we don't have gil the woman, named Cindy, said that we've tasked on taking care of some monsters outside of Hammerhead."
Gladio laughed, earning exasperated looks from the Prince and Princess. "You're royalty, but have become broke." He teased, watching as the two members of royalty walked past them - in the direction of wherever the monsters were located.
The others followed suit quickly, their main priority on protecting Noctis on the way to his his wedding - however now knowing that Arabella was also royalty shifted the protection to her as well. Like a literal second Noctis.
Through the silence the Princess flicked her hand to the side, her faithful rapier crystalizing into her grasp. Her blue eyes hardening with purpose as her body prepared itself for anything. She had never fought side by side with her father before, in the training room her main opponent was Ignis or Gladio, but this would be something new.
"If you're done snapping at me," she said snarkily, readying her rapier once their target appeared in her vision. "I'd like to see what you can do!"
Noctis curled his lips into a boasting smirk, his Engine Blade appearing into his own hand. "Oh yeah? Well prepare to be amazed!"
