"Have you got everything?"

Katy said to Maya as she hugged her daughter goodbye.

"Yes, and if I don't, I'm sure I can buy something whilst I'm there, its not a big deal".

"And you'll call me?'

"I'll text you everyday".

Maya said rolling her eyes.

There was a knock at their apartment door, interrupting their mother-daughter moment. Katy went to answer it whilst Maya turned to pick up her backpack.

"Oh, hi Lucas. Sorry, we were expecting Riley."

"Yeah, I know, but Mr. Matthews decided to drive her to the airport, Farkle and Zay had already planned to travel together anyway, So I decided to accompany Maya".

Maya smiled.

"I'm just going to check I haven't forgotten anything".

Maya said and she walked to her room, leaving Katy and Lucas alone together at the door.

"Well that's so convenient that you hadn't made any travel arrangements".

"Well I... Forgot".

"Look Lucas, I know what happened between you and my daughter, I'm not stipid. I've seen the way you look at each other and I know that you two still have feelings for each other, Why do you think she called it off with josh. Anyway, I just want you to know that if you try anything with her on this trip, Shawn and I'll come after you. Even though you beat a bull, we can still bring you down".

"She broke it off with Josh because of me?"

"Did you hear any of threats I just made?"

Katy said exasperated.

"Mrs. Hart, I need to ask you a favor".

"Sure what is it".

"I need you to tell me honesty, does Maya still like me?"

"I think I've got everything".

Maya smiled as she walked out of the room.

"Yes Lucas, and if you don't do something about your baggage they might not let you on the plane".

Katy said slyly.

For a second Lucas was confusex and then finally caught on.

"So I should get rid of the stuff that I don't want and then be with what I really do and what wants me."

"If you feel the same".

Katy said.

"I was out of the room for 5 minutes, what happened in here?"

Maya asked.
