—Jeremys POV— —1st Person narrator—
"It's almost evening already" you thought to yourself as you walked along a street towards your home.
As you walked you felt really excited because someone would come over and pay you a visit tomorrow.
You picked up the pace, now almost in a jog-walk as you moved along, excitement filling your stomach.
As you reached your home you sighed happily and went inside.
—-Skipping ahead to the next day at around 4:28 pm—-
You heard a knock on your door as you were igniting your grill in the backyard.
"Coming!" You shouted as you put the lighter on a small garden table and headed inside to check the door.
"4:29 pm, still strictly on time" you chuckled to yourself as you approached the front door.
As you opened the door you were met by a sight to behold
"M-Maho" you stuttered looking at your childhood friend as a big smile formed on her face. My
Before you could say something or even look at her completely she already had embraced you in a hug as you returned the hug
"Long time no Seen~" you said happily as she let go and looked at you again
"Yeah, you bet~" she replied, her eyes focusing on yours.
—Shifting to 3rd Person narrator—
(He really does look very different from the last time I saw him) Maho thought to herself, looking him up and down
"So uh... you wanna come in?" Jeremy asked
"Sure~" Maho replied and with that she'd stepped inside.
"You got a really nice place~" Maho mentioned as she looked around with an interested expression.
(She really did change-) Jeremy thought as he was cut off by Maho turning her back to him whilst trying to hang her jacket into the Garderobe next to the door.
Jeremy look at her from behind (she really did change...) he repeated as his eyes slowly moved from her head down to her waist
(STOP!!) he thought to himself as he turned around and mentally scolded himself for already checking her out a little.
"I'm gonna go and light the grill now" Jeremy said as he walked along the hallway, took a left and through the kitchen out into the garden.
Maho turned around and shouted "Alright" as she'd finished hanging up her jacket, which was a bit of a pain cause she had to push away Jeremy's Coats and Jackets to hang hers up.
She followed him out into the garden where she sat down on a bench and looked at him whilst he was dealing with the grill.
(He really did change, he looks much more... handsome-wait what?!?) Maho thought to herself as a blush grew on her face
(He is your childhood friend, you can't possibly...) she continued to think as she heard something in the distance, it grew louder and louder until she realized that Jeremy said her name a few times.
"Maho?, Are you ok?" He asked with a worried expression "you seemed to have spaced out, you need a drink?"
"A-ah I-I think I-I am good t-thanks~" Maho replied stuttering, blushing slightly
(Real smooth champ, what are you getting so flustered about?!) Maho scolded herself mentally once more as she started to smile again
"If you say so-" Jeremy answered and finished preparing the grill.
"Ok! What would you like? I got sausages, steaks... uhm..." he tried to remember what he'd gotten but he couldn't remember since his focus was elsewhere.
"Uh... I'll take a sausage I guess..." Maho's voice trailing off as she thought about what a grilled sausage would taste like.
"Alright, I'm gonna get some out the kitchen, since I've never tried grilled sausage I assume it's an opportunity to try it out, don't you think?" Jeremy said as he walked into the kitchen, returning shortly after
"Mhm" Maho replied looking at the sausages as he put them on the grill
—Timeskip—
Maho's laughter filled the evening as Jeremy told her jokes.
"That was a good one she said, although I believe it's time to go to sleep, it's already 9:28 pm" Maho chuckled as she turned to look at the big Church tower which was looming over the small town.
"Right" Jeremy said as he got up and headed inside, Maho following him.
"Since I don't have something like a Guest room, you could either sleep on the couch or in my bed~" Jeremy said, turning to look at Maho
"I...uhm... I'd like to sleep in a bed p-please" Maho said quietly, starting to blush again
"O-oh... uhm... you see I am kinda t-to big for the couch sooo..." Jeremy bluntly said his voice trailing off as a blush grew over his face.
"W-we c-could uh.." Maho started to stutter but cut herself off at the thought of it. Her face heated up even more
"We could what?" Jeremy blurted out, completely oblivious to what Maho went on about.
"U-uhm... I-I thought t-that we c-could s-share?" She said softly, looking down to the floor.
"O-oh uhm... s-sure~" Jeremy stuttered as he gestured her to follow him to his room.
"H-here it i-is... m-my room" he mumbled shakily as he opened the door and walked in.
"I-it does l-look pretty n-nice" Maho muttered quietly, although loud enough for Jeremy to hear what she'd said.
"I-I'm going to change now~" Jeremy said as he opened his wall wardrobe
"A-ah of c-course, I'm gonna g-get changed too..." Maho replied to what he'd said and turned on her heel to walk back downstairs to her suitcase.
(Why did I say that we could share?! It was such a stupid idea that just popped into my head and yet I said it.) Maho thought to herself scolding herself yet again.
As she came back upstairs Jeremy was already in bed, reading a book. Quiet unusual for a 16 year old.
Maho sat down next to him and he turned to look at her, a blush growing on both their faces.
He turned away and Maho laid down, they were now facing back to back to each other.
After some time of thinking about this whole situation she fell asleep, so did Jeremy.
