Underwater || Mermaid Kiri x Bakugou AU

Eijirou

its time I thought as a swam up to the surface and sat on my favorite rock (*Joke* himself UwU) to watch the sunset. I wonder, would anyone visit? Sure its hard to see the sunset and sunrise but its still a beautiful forest my thoughts were interrupted by a red thing approaching the lake. I immediately dive back down to the bottom of the lake to hide. What is that?! What is that thing?! Why are they here? Did my wish come true? is someone here to visit?

Katsuki

I arrive at the cabin. Its small with a beautiful lake and forest around it. There was someone sitting on one of the rocks in the lake watching the sunset but they quickly went into the water. I ignore them, pull out my sketchbook and head to the dock before starting to draw the forest view before I feel something staring at me. I look down into the water to see beautiful red eyes looking at me before the thing disappears underneath the dock. "Hey!" I yell. I was now leaning over the edge being careful not to fall in.

Back to Kiri

I was staring at the being for a little while. He had pale skin with ash blonde hair paired with ruby eyes. The thing caught me staring. I quickly swim under the dock hiding "Hey!" I hear them yell. My curiosity got to me and before I knew it my eyes were just above the water. Before I went any further up I pull myself down.

Bakugou

The person comes up a little bit before going right back under. I want to reach to them to pull them out. Who is this? What should I-WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!? I thought as a see a small red flash and the person goes back under the dock. I decided to just head to bed for the night but before I do that, I have to unpack everything.

3rd POV

Bakugou starts to haul all of his stuff into the small cabin. Everything would last him about 2 or 3 months. Once he finished, he flopped onto his bed and let the effects of sleep take over.

~~~Next Day

Bakugou woke up early to hopefully watch the sunrise. To his surprise, the person from the previous day was sitting on the rocks and didn't notice Bakugou. Katsuki sat down on the dock, careful to not make any sound, and started to draw the person. The sun was up and it was time for Kirishima to go back down to the bottom of the lake. he noticed the ash blonde as soon as he was under the dock. This time, Bakugou touched the red thing and it felt scaly.

Bakugou

I was able to touch the red thing and it felt scaly. I'm convinced my mind is playing tricks on me. Eh its probably just a fish. I'll finish this later. for now, I want to go for a swim. I walk back inside the cabin and change into swim trunks and walk back outside. I'm going to find this person and hopefully become friends with them. I was so lost in thought that I belly flopped into the lake which was not pleasant. Not at all (lol I've done that before but got smacked in the jaw with a boogie board at the same time.) I saw it. I saw the red tail.

Kirishima

I didn't have any time before the thing jumped into the lake and saw me. He swims towards me and touches my shoulder. This made me panic inside. I remember father telling me about things called humans. They hunt mermaids and are horrible creatures. They're rough and will do anything to kill our kind. This thing, I believe is a human but he doesn't seem anything like what I was told. He's gentle and seems nice. I didn't see anything that could be used to kill when he brought all of his stuff into the cabin so I think he's safe. This person I think is what they're called went up to the surface for air before coming back.
