I was walking down the halls of my school with my best friend Ciera, when suddenly, the bell rang! We were on the other side of the school so we decided to run as fast as we could to get to class. A teacher, who was closing her door, stopped us and said, "Ms. Mendes, why are you not in class?" I said, " sorry Mrs. W I really, uh, had to go to the bathroom!" Smooth one! "And for you Ms. Carpenter?" She said to Ciera. "I was going to the bathroom too!" She replied. "Ok than carry on!" She said and let us leave. "Wow that was a close one!" I said. "Agreed!" She said. "Ok well we better get to class now!" I said as I started to run down the halls.
••••••skipping a boring school day••••••
After school, I met up with Ciera and we started to walk to my house. We are practically sisters, so we do this all the time. Once we got to my house, Shawn quickly opened up the door and hugged me. "Someone's a happy camper!" I said. "I am going on tour with my friends, they are calling it Magcon!" He screamed. "That's great!" I said as my mom said, "Hey Shelby, can you come here?" "Yeah." I screamed and ran to the family room. "what is it?" "Well, I have some good and bad news. Which one do you want first?" "Good." I said. "Ok well Shawn is going in tour!" "I know! I'm so excited! Now the bad news..." "Ok well I'm sorry to say but..."
