Alphablocks: Rebooted

Chapter 1

B sat on the front porch of her door, gazing up at the stars. B, now 16 and tall, with darker blue twin ponytails and a dark gray midriff top, gloves, and boots as well as a lavender scarf with orange and blue stripes, thought about her and her brother's past life, when their parents were still alive. How she was much closer to them than D was. How she loved them, and how she was always happy when they were around. That was, until they were killed. A terrible accident happened when they were driving to pick up B and D from school. Killed in a car wreck, and how she grieved her parents severely. This was a time she would never forget... Every 6th of December, she would be remembering that day her parents died. Tears begin to run to run down her cheeks slowly as she cried quietly.

Just then, her elder brother, D, goes outside to see his sister on the porch. D, now a muscular humanoid of 17 with messy violet hair he hardly combs, wearing a gray T-shirt, a black leather jacket, dark gray jeans, and black leather boots, all jock-like, stood there staring at his younger sister before placing a hand on her shoulder. He lit a cigarette in his mouth before saying "It must be that depressing memory you keep having, huh? I miss Mom and Dad too, but that's alright. You just gotta accept their fate and move on."
B looked up at her big brother. D has started smoking after some time during this year.
"You still haven't quit smoking, brother? You can't do that, it'll kill you.... just like our parents got killed in the car wreck," the teenage bassist admonished as she noticed the cigarette in the drummer's mouth.

"Don't despair. I'd like to see it try... Besides, once you start, you can't stop."
"Brother, It takes a huge dose to kill you. How many packs have you smoked?"
"About 4 or 5."
"Brother! That's like 48 to 60 cigarettes! That's bad."
"Relax, sis. At least I don't drink.... yet."

B buries her face in her arms. "Let's change the subject."
D just sits beside his sister, watching the smoke from his cigarette rise higher until it disappears in thin air. They both stared up at the night sky until B felt a small drip of water on her left cheek; it starting to rain lightly.
"C'mon, sis. Let's go back inside. We don't wanna get pneumonia from this." D says before throwing his cigarette away and walking back in the house.

B follows her brother inside, then she stares at the window, watching the stars and full moon as it rains down on the glass. B always enjoyed watching the night sky, especially with her boyfriend E. When D went to his room, she decided to call E into coming over. E answers his phone.

E: Hello?
B: Hey E. It's me, B. Listen, I was just wandering.... Are you okay with staying over at me and my bro's place tonight?
E: If you're brother's okay with it.
B: He doesn't really care if anyone comes to visit.
E: Oh. Good. I love you. I'll be there.
B: Bye, I love you too. *call ends*

10 minutes later, someone rings the doorbell. B answers the door and sees her boyfriend, a bit wet from the rain, but she still hugged him and kissed his cheek anyway.
"Hey D! I invited my boyfriend to stay if you're cool with it!" B calls from the living room. The drummer opens his door.
"Okay. That's cool. He's allowed." D replies casually as he was just playing his drums really loudly. D never cares if E comes to stay over; they were buddies! B and E went to B's room, where B started playing a few notes from her bass guitar. E watched as she played.
"You know, I always wondered..... Do you think that just one day.... We would settle down and start a new generation?" E asks as he lies next to his girlfriend.
"What do you mean...?" B questions, as she stops playing her bass and puts it beside her bed.
"As in if we could do 'it'" just then, B knew exactly what E was talking about.
"Uh... I was kinda planning on saving that for another time... like when I'm actually ready to do this...."
"Okay. I thought that your brother would kill me if we did this anyways." E responds thoughtfully as B kisses him on the cheek before drifting off to sleep. E puts his arm around his girlfriend and also falls asleep.
