-Sirius-

I carry Cordelia across the slightly thick mist as we get further away from the river. I couldn't stop thinking about what happened to Lebara. I honestly thought she would make it out fine, but I should've known better. The Lathtrap Viper is hard to pass, it's why I wanted to go by myself. It would've been safer that way, but either that way I almost got Cordelia and myself killed. I can't do anything right! Why do I always fail at everything? I'm not a good friend, and I'm definitely not a good soulmate. I glance down at her and notice that her breathing is starting to slow, and I notice slight sweat drops sliding down her forehead. She's dying again. I need to hurry. I thought gritting my teeth. I quicken my pace as I made it to the end of the path and noticed a big pond. I lay Cordelia down by it as I look around for the Fates and Destiny.

I know they are here. I can feel them watching me, and it's making me feel uneasy. I glanced down at the pond again as I wait for them to show themselves. They will once they know I'm not here to be hostile. I thought as I kneel down onto the ground. I've waited for about ten minutes when the water finally started to ripple and move. I watch it in silence until a white and black orb slowly rises out of the water. I watch trying to be patient as they fully risen out of the water and hover above the water. I almost forgotten how simple looking they looked, as Fates is just a simple black orb with a glowing black ring around it, while Destiny is a white orb with a glowing white ring around it.

"Sirius Burns. Prince of Hell. What do we owe of your visit?" Fates asks.

"I need your guys help. Cordelia has my friend Cristobal in her head, and is dying from having a demon inside of her head. Please, you must know how to get him out of her mind." I ask hopeful.

"A demon inside of a humans mind. That's a rare thing to happen. This human died once, and so did your friend. You brought them back?" Fates asks.

"Yes. I felt so uh depressed when she was gone. I-I had to bring her back." I tell him stuttering a bit.

Why am I stuttering? I never stutter. I can't be that nervous around them can I? I glance down at Cordelia again and see that she's starting to get worse. I knew what Brigid did wouldn't last long, but I was hoping it would've lasted longer than this. I look back up at the Fates and Destiny only to see Destiny in front of me.

"She's your soulmate! That's so cute!" Destiny yells excitedly.

"Destiny control yourself." Fates says sighing.

"Hey! I don't get to see people's soulmates as often as you can see their deaths." Destiny remarks.

"Hmph."

"Please! Can you guys help them?" I ask getting desperate.

"Us? No. We can't help you get a demon out of a humans mind. We don't have that kind of power." Fates states matter of fact.

"So then where do I go? I'm running out of time." I ask trying to stay calm.

"Go no where. Nobody can't help you with this problem, the only one who can solve this is her." Fates says gesturing towards Cordelia.

"But how can she-" I try to ask, "If she has the will enough to live and wants that demon out of her mind desperately enough. She can do it." Fates retorts.

This is a problem. Cordelia wants to help Cristobal, and she will do anything to keep him inside of her mind until we can find a new body for him. But, if there's no way to do that then what? Do I just lose both of them? No. I refuse to lose Cordelia again, and if I can help it I'm not gonna lose Cristobal again either. There has to be another way to help them both. There just has to be.
