chapter 2

Finally, its Saturday and I can sleep till 11. After drinking my black coffee I call Amy and remind her that we decided to do our assignments together.

"u coming right? ".

"yeah I 'll be there at two I ll bring few clothes along with me to sleep at your house and on Sunday we can go to the mall to buy john a gift".

"gift for what?"

"I think we should give him something as a congratulation for a new job".

"Okay come and then we'll decide" I hang up and decide to clean I dont remember the last time I cleaned my place It has been weeks

She shows right at 2 and we start our assignments right away. We order some takeout from tates and get our work done till 7

"I applied for a few internships," I tell her

"what internships?"

"one is Assistant of a head of marketing department in a company named Bits, and another one is related to digital marketing"

"niceeee"

After watching some rom-com we sleep.

Wake up rhea! Amy is shouting at the top of her voice in my ears. I open my eyes and she is looking at me furiously

"wake up its 11 already! We need to go to the mall to buy john a present and then get ready so we can go help Cheryl"

"Why does Cheryl need help its just a party?" I ask her rubbing sleep off my eyes.

"Apparently she is having this big thing she invited all her friends and John's friends and she is freaking out I just talked to her. We need to hurry up"

I get out of bed and shower. Later on we go to mall and buy a congrats card and a tie.

It's already noon till the time we get dressed Amy is wearing a black dress and a white pearl necklace. I wear my favourite simple chain locket with a shiny white heartshaped pendant and my pink dress with white sneakers and after an hour we leave for William's mansion.

When we reach the big house and park Amy's car in the driveway
I see John, in the yard he waves and I do the same walking toward him Amy congratulates him "Congrats Jhony"

"Thanks Amy you look fantastic as always"

"Thanks Jhony" she giggles and john snorts. I know he hates it when she calls him that. He says that its annoying and sounds like name of a dog but Amy refuses to call her John apparently according to her it's cute.

"I am going inside to look for Cheryl," she tells us and leave

I hug him he is the same height as me

"congratulations john I am really happy for you," I tell him.

"Thank you" he smiles and looks at me

"you look really good! Luke is going to get crazy" he laughs

"I am already crazy about her" oh no I turn to find him walking towards us. Here we go.

"You look phenomenal in this dress babe"

"Hi luke you look good too".

He actually is looking so hot in a black leather jacket and snug jeans with black shades

"Yaa I know I always look good babe," he says with his all time smirk

This is why I will never like him he is so self-conceited and arrogant.I will never know why girls fall for him.Before I say something that i will regret I go inside to look for Cheryl.
