My head shook while a smile remained on my face as I watched Jason swaying to the song that played through his speakers, so late at night.  Erin looked towards me, her eyebrows raised causing me to let out a laugh. I watched as her boyfriend Chris walked over to her and handed her the bottle of beer.
Erin and I have been friends for so long, I've stopped calling her a friend and started calling her my sister, we fought like we already were sisters anyways. We met when I was 6, and let's just say I wasn't the greatest friend when I was at that age, She was my only friend at the time too, even after High school and dating the shitty guys I dated, she stuck by. To make it better, her and Chris have been together for awhile and he usually picked on me, at first when I met him I just felt like he hated me and that he was just a complete douche. Especially after a year of knowing me he would make jokes about me and pick on me all the time, come to find out he thought of me like his little sister. Erin spoke to him about it after I told her I didn't think he liked me, and she laughed at that idea. "Sage, you want one?" My head shook side to side as he pulled me away from my thoughts. "Nah, not feeling it tonight." I watched as Jason took the last swig of his beer before mumbling along to the song and making his way over to me, who hugged a blanket to her body as it felt freezing. I felt him tug the blanket off of me, causing me to gasp. "No, give it back! I'm cold." I whined as I watched him grin and plop himself down on top of me, and yanking the blanket Over us. He was warm. Really warm. He felt better then the blanket did.
He snaked his arms around my body as his head rested on my chest.
He's been needy lately. He's never like this, unless he's exhausted. I know being in a gang and doing all the jobs must be draining, especially lately. He wanted to make extra money, so he could give it to me. He wouldn't let me get a job, said I'm better off without one.
I rested a hand on his head, as I began to play with his brown locks. He let out a small hum as I looked over. "Sheesh, hes nothing but a big baby." Erin laughed, causing me to laugh with a nod. "Tell me about it."

Another month of skipping, god I loved not having to deal with the cramps anymore.
I loved being on this birth control, it stops my
Periods completely. Although, I have felt bloated more than ever. And everything seems to make me feel nauseous, can't believe the smell of
Lavender makes me want to gag. I used to love the smell. The doctor told me there could be side effects, this must be it. I had a low low chance of even being pregnant in the first place. The birth control for one, and two, always used safety. Don't want to worry about a baby until further down the road. Much further.

"Sage?" I held my hair back as I emptied my dinner into the toilet as I heard Erin call for me. "Hey, woah holy shit." I felt her pull my hand away as she pulled my hair into a ponytail with a random ass hair tie. I let out a huff. "This is the 2nd week of you getting sick." I nodded as I squeezed my eyes shut. I watched as she walked to the bathtub and turned the water on, testing the temperature before plugging the drain. She shuffled out of the room, before coming back with a plastic cup filled with sink water. She handed it to me, allowing me to wash my mouth out and drink the rest. "Certain smells and foods make me sick." I felt her grab my arm as I stood up, I had bags under my eyes. Jason has no idea I was getting sick so often. At first we both assumed stomach bug, but 2 weeks?
Erin walked over and shut the water off. "You're going to the women's clinic tomorrow." I nodded before she pointed towards the tub. "But for now, get in the warm bath and relax for a bit. I'm telling Jason you got sick again." I nodded again, the tired expression resting on my face.

I let out a breath as I laid down on the table, my shirt was lifted and the gel was placed.
We decided to do an ultrasound instead of blood work. I didn't want to wait to find out if it was what I thought, I wanted to know as quickly as possible. She placed the handheld device against my stomach, and begin to rub it around. I watched as a smile formed on her face. She turned the screen towards me, and pointed towards a certain spot. "There's your baby." I stared at the screen in disbelief. My whole world stopped. "You're about, 13 weeks in. So, you're due in... October. October 31st. The baby is currently the size of a lemon." She began to print the pictures before wiping the gel off and allowing me to sit up. "At around 16 to 20 weeks you'll be able to find out the gender."
She handed me the ultrasound pictures, allowing me to leave and process this news.

I peeked my head into the living room, keeping my hand on my bag that held the pictures of my baby. That's crazy, being able to say my baby.
I noticed Jason sat on the couch, a PS4 controller in his hand. I made my way into the room, as I chewed on my lip. Jason glanced towards me for a moment before looking back towards the TV. "How'd your doctors appointment go? Is it some dumbass stomach bug that's going around." I looked towards the other side of the couch, where Erin and Chris sat all cuddled
Up to each other. "It went well. Can you come to
The kitchen with me?" He looked towards me
Confused as he paused his game and got up.
We made our way into the kitchen. "What's wrong?" He had worry written on his face.
"Well. There's nothing wrong with me." He nodded. "Okay. Then what's going on?" I slightly
smiled as I pulled out the pictures and handed them to him. He looked at them confused. "What's this for?" My eyes rolled, it's really not clicking?
"Jason." He lifted his head up towards me. "I'm pregnant." His eyes widened, before he looked down at the photos. I watched as he looked back up at me. "That's our baby?" I nodded as I slightly laughed. I watched as he looked back down, and I noticed he had tears forming.
"Don't cry." I furrowed my eyebrows before feeling him pulling me into a hug. "I'm gonna be a dad." I laughed, he slightly rubbed my back before pulling away and wiping his eyes. "I'm due on Halloween. I'm 13 weeks, 3 months." He smiled, his pearly whites making their appearance. "Hey you two! What's going on in there?" I looked over at the two that laid on the couch. I felt Justin grip my hand and walk us over
To them. He handed Chris the pictures. "Why am
I looking at- wait." I watched as Erin sat up. I felt Jason wrap his arms around from behind, allowing his hands to rest on my stomach. "She's pregnant!"
